Today, Islam is all up in the news, probably more than they have been in a while. We are watching the Islamification of Europe right now, and have been for years. My family and I saw the evidence of it when we were in England over a decade ago, walking toward the Thames when an anti-American parade of Islamists was marching toward us. We in America sit by now, much like France watched the Islamification of Spain that sparked an 800 year “reconquista” effort there. It ended in 1492 and inspired and enabled the beginning of the age of Exploration, much out of Spain’s desperate need for trade routes blocked by Islamists still controlling the Mediterranean Sea.
Islam had already taken over a lot of formerly Christian territory by that time, which necessitated the ‘Crusades’ that Muslims blame on Christianity. Islam held Spain, The Holy Land, and most of northern Africa by the early 700s AD. It was not like the ‘evangelical’ efforts of the Apostles and other early ‘missionaries’ that Islam won those territories. It was by conquest.
The word “islam” means ‘submit’. They will tell you it is a peaceful submission they desire, and that being “muslim” means that you have peacefully submitted to ‘allah’; but, the fruit of their history shows us that it is either that you submit to Islam, or you are forced to do so by continued compulsion or the threat of execution. The history of it is very complex, shaded in part by the sword, and in part by soft compulsion such as extreme taxes, limits on freedom, et cetera.
Where did this come from? It was a religion started by one man, Mohammed, an Arab who claims to have had a revelation in a cave near Mecca in what is now Saudi Arabia back in 610 A.D.
At the time, Arabs there worshipped many gods. They were utterly pagan, and the ‘chief’ of all their 360 deities was already “Allah”. In Arabia all the way back to the first century A.D., the “Ka’aba” existed as a shrine to those 360 deities. Diodorus Siculus records its existence in the first century B.C.! Mecca was already a sacred place of worship of the moon god. The Ka’aba had many idols around it, but the one inside it was the ‘black stone’, which was supposed to be a piece of white stone from the moon, turned black by the sins of the people when they kissed it. Long before Islam, Nabataeans of Arabia and surrounding areas made pilgrimage to Mecca once a year to worship the stone, and the other deities around it.1
The pagans in the Arabian region were long-time worshippers of the moon. Their camels had ‘crescents’ hanging around their necks; they wore them as their own jewelry. The Black Stone is [still] in the corner of the Ka’aba, and the 360 other deities were around the outside of it. The Arabs also had thousands of ‘djinn’ beings, lesser deities, what we know today as the ‘genie’ in a bottle. The ‘hajj’ that muslims practice today was already a long-established practice in antiquity, in the autumn when the sun was ‘dying’, and they wanted winter rains. They would hold an all-night vigil, provoke three sacred pillars of Mina, and offer animal sacrifices to the deities there. Women would offer themselves to the pilgrims. Anyone who knows modern Islam can see those same elements in what they do today.
Today, the Ka’aba and the black stone are the focal point of the Hajj, still. It is that square shrine in Mecca around which pilgrims gather every year during Ramadan, with the Black Stone in the corner of it. Mohammed simply re-purposed the pilgrimage and the pagan shrine, much like Catholics repurposed lesser deities into saints, Saturnalia into Christmass, and Easter instead of Passover. He simply tore down the other 360 idols around it to focus on their supreme deity, “allah” who was supposed to have given him ‘revelation’.
Mohammed came along in 610 A.D. and had his ‘revelation’ near Mecca. He began his preaching there in about 613 A.D., to extreme oppostion. He found it difficult to convert the Arabs by persuasion, and he and the few he gathered had to leave and go to Medina. The islamic calendar starts dated to this journey in 622, called Hijra. Mohammed expands Islam there, and creates a political and religious community called “Ummah”, whose leaders began to be called ‘caliphs’, uniting people from Mecca and Medina, and a group of Jews who allied with them by honoring Mohammed’s ‘pact’ of unity, probably in an effort to survive.
It is in Medina that the Quran was finished. Attacks on Medina and Mohammed from Mecca, which had rejected him, caused their unity to solidify in Medina.
It is from there that Mohammed began to lead attacks against other cities. As early as 624 A.D. he began to hit various cities and demand political and religious submission to him and his new religion. In Khaybar in 628 were some Jewish groups living with Arabs; they did not force the Jews to convert in submission, but political submission was exacted from them. In Taif in 630, the city refused to submit. Mohammed’s seige of the city failed, but a year later the city did submit. Of course, political submission led later to either their leaving the city, or eventually being pressured into religious submission, or executed after much persecution.
He hit Mecca in 630 A.D., and the city surrendered. They either had to ‘submit’ and become Muslim [a submitted one] or leave the city. If they stayed without ‘submission’, they were executed. It is at that point the the Ka’aba was repurposed and became a shrine of Islam. Mohammed paid homage to the Black Stone by kissing it, a custom established long before his day. He then lied to his people, and thus the world, claiming Abraham and Ishmael built it. Nothing could be further from the truth. It was an arbitrary fiction in order to get the people of Mecca on board with Islam, and it worked. The life of Abraham is entirely recorded in Genesis. Ishmael, the father of Arabs, was rejected by God in terms of the promise of Abraham.
All of the Arab lands also already worshipped “Allah”, who was simply the highest deity in their pantheon. It was not like Mohammed learned of a ‘one true god’ in the cave at Mecca: they already worshipped “Allah”, their supreme being. But, his ‘cave revelation’ is where he learned things that are contrary to the Bible, but accepted as truth.
Allah created man from a clot of blood.
Allah is revealing knowledge to humanity.
Mohammed was chosen to recite that ‘revelation’.
He was supposed to have been visited by Gabriel the angel; this connects his vision to both of the existing Abrahamic faiths, Judaism and Christianity. Mohammed was told after his vision that Gabriel visited Moses, and so that is still tradition today, but Gabriel never visited Moses. That angel only ever visited the prophet Daniel in the Old Testament, to tell of the coming Messiah, and then Zechariah and Miryam in the New Testament to affirm Daniel’s vision to them, that the Son of God would be born of a virgin. Islam, of course, denies this. But, it was a convenient way to connect to the predominant faith in the world at that time. It helped to appease people who were not confident of their knowledge of the scriptures, when they were being coerced into ‘submission’. Once Arabia was conquered, which had some Christians in it, Islam then moved into and conquered Christian lands.
The pattern of conquest became the pattern of Islam, until it took over most of the Levant, the Holy Land, northern Africa, and Spain.
In 1071, Islam made its way into Asia Minor, on its way to Europe from the other direction. They hit the Byzantine empire’s heartland, the bedrock of early Gentile christianity where the first gentiles were led to Messiah by Paul the Apostle. The Byzantine emperor at the time was Alexos I Komnenos, and out of desperation he wrote a letter to the Pope: “Help. We are being overrun.”
That is when the “Crusades” started. It was a response to four hundred years of Islamic conquest of Christian lands and peoples. The threat was now at the door on the east of Europe. They already held Spain. They had penetrated past the Pyrenees Mountains into France, but the French were able to organize and unify, and to take advantage of disarray in the Umayyad Caliphate in order to keep them from going further into France. But now, three hundred years later, they were knocking on the east side of Europe, and the threat was very real.
Europe responded and finally decided to take the fight to them, thus beginning the ‘Crusades’. To hear Islam and Muslim sympathizers tell it, Christians were just killing Muslims. While it may sound oversimplified, the Crusades were a response to a very real threat of the wiping out of Christianity altogether.
And we here in America are sitting at that same precipice. We are watching as Europe becomes heavily Islamic. Not by hard conquest, but by floods of immigration and procreation until they become the majority.
We hear what the world likes to call ‘fringe Islamic extremists’ expressing their intent to destroy the West. Most recently, a muslim openly claimed that America will soon submit to Islam. The press keeps telling us that this is ‘fringe Islam.’ The problem is, the fringes keep getting more elaborate.
“Mainstream” Muslims are all saying that eventually America will be Islamic. The purpose of Sharia law is to Islamify a city, a county, a country. They are openly saying they are running for American offices all over the country, in order eventually to implement Sharia Law in the various states. Eventually, they want it at the Federal level.
Just because there are friendly lay Muslims who are not hostile to you, that does not mean they will not vote for their Muslim brothers who are running for offices around the country for the very purpose of Islamifying America. They have done it in London. They just did it in New York. They have overcome Dearborn, Michigan, and the Somali Muslims in Minnesota and their representative are bent on turning America to ‘submission.’
That is why Greg Abbot did what he did, and I am glad. That is why Trump did what he did concerning the Somali ‘refugees’. And I’m glad.
Sharia law is in direct violation of the Constitution. It is the establishment of Muslim Authority as a politico-religious power over all citizens, ‘submitted’ or not. It is the very marrying of ‘church and state’. It should not exist in any way in the United States of America. To try to appease your Muslim friends by ‘toleration’ is folly. Anyone who thinks that they are just coming here to enjoy our freedom is simply playing into their hands, and willfully handing America over to a foreign power that will strip citizens of their God-given rights, most especially that of the freedom of RELIGION. Everywhere that Islam has gone has done this. I have been to their countries, and they are not free, unless they are ‘submitted.’ And that ‘freedom’ is conditional upon surrendering to Allah continually.
Allah is NOT the Elohim of the Bible. It is a religious fool who thinks that. Elohim, God the Creator, whose NAME is יהוה , formed Adam from the dust of the earth and breathed life into him. He chose Abraham by whom to ‘reveal’ Himself to the world, through Isaac, chosen specifically instead of Ishmael. Isaac’s son Jacob was then chosen to inherit that covenant. And Yeshua the Messiah, the Son of God predicted by the Angel Gabriel in the book of Daniel was given to Israel through the annunciation by that same angel who announced Miryam’s conception. Yeshua is born of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Jacob is the progenitor of Israel, and Yeshua is his Messiah, and the Savior of the whole world.
God sent His Son into the world as the final revelation! There was no need for ‘another’ “prophet” 600 years later, especially one who would cause all its adherants to deny that Yeshua is His Son! If Allah and יהוה Elohim were the same being, then he’s wishy-washy, and a liar. But they are not. “Allah” is a false God, plain and simple.
If America does not wake up to what Islam is trying to do, then they will take over, just as they are doing in Europe.
It is a lack of repentance and adherence to the Word of God in America that is causing it. Yeshua actually warned all of us about it, but no one pays Him heed anymore. He warned Eurasia about it 1900 years ago!
Yeshua told the seven Gentile congregations to return to their first love, be faithful to Him even unto death, repent or be judged, hold fast and obey the Messiah and do not tolerate the corruption of Jezebel, wake up and strengthen the truth that does remain in you of His Word, do not deny His Name, and stop being ‘lukewarm’ about faith. [Rev 2-3]
He warned in those letters that if we did not repent of the mixture religion brought in through the spirit of Jezebel that the congregation would die: ‘be thrown into a coffin’. [some translations render it ‘sickbed’].
Is that what is happening to Western Christianity? It is clear by the Seven Letters that different groups of believers will be judged differently, but they are all still one “Body” of Messiah. Europe is all but lost, and almost vacant of true faith in Yeshua.
I have been declaring that those seven Congregations in Revelation 2-3 were indeed ‘terminated’. Yeshua did take their “Menorah” from them, because they did not listen. He warned them He would cause them to cease to exist as a congregation. All seven of those cities are now in the realm of Islam, and have been for 1,000 years, and it is from several of them that Christianity was perverted by Jezebel, adding trinity, turning Mary into a god, and killing believers who would not accept all her perversions. And it was not long after those doctrines became ‘sure’ that Islam attacked that very region and destroyed the faith of those very cities.
Anyone who thinks America is so ‘Christian’ that it is impervious to such a fate is delusional. Those seven cities probably thought the same way. If we want America to exist for our children and grandchildren, then stopping the spread of Islam should be of paramount importance. Never mind all the other corruptions of our politics, which are many.
We have to do what Yeshua warned those seven ancient cities to do, but they did not. Return to the first love [Torah, taught at Ephesus by Paul for two years], be faithful to Him even unto death, repent or be judged, hold fast and obey the Messiah and do not tolerate the corruption of Jezebel, wake up and strengthen the truth that does remain in you of His Word, do not deny His Name, and stop being ‘lukewarm’ about faith.
