The Holy Spirit of God is unseen. Yeshua, the Son of God, taught us that we can see what it does, but we cannot see The Spirit itself. I have indeed experienced the power of His Spirit and the very Presence of God. I have experienced the ‘gifts’ of the Spirit. But, no one has cornered the market on His Ru’akh, like so many people think they have.
As of now, none of us have even ever seen The Son of God; however, history is full of the evidence that Yeshua is a man who walked the earth, and changed the world single-handedly. To deny that is to deny His Spirit, which also testifies concerning the Son of God.
Today, so many people talk about God. And so many people talk about His Spirit. And so many people profess to be IN His Spirit. And, some of them really are. However, for a person who is NEW to God and His Son, the Messiah of Israel, knowing if the actual Ru’akh, BREATH/SPIRIT of God is evident can be tricky, because people betray His Truth and follow fallacy, and dabble with other spirits, all the time.
The most critical evidence as to whether a person has the Ru’akh, the Breath of God, inside of him, is if that person has CHANGED, and is BEING perfected by the power of God. The transformed life is the key! If someone has stopped living in sin and begun to pursue a life of righteousness by confessing the blood of Yeshua, that is the evidence we look for in another person; and that transformation should continue, for the rest of his life. No one is ever perfected before death! Only Yeshua was. But, it is truly a miracle of His Spirit if a human can stay in a state of humility in the pursuit of the character of Yeshua in his own life. That person may never “speak in tongues”, prophesy, heal miraculously, or any other ‘obvious’ ‘superpower’, but will most definitely exhort, forgive, and love other people in spite of their sin. Those are the things the people of Messiah should be looking for in others, and trying to evince themselves. Those are the things that prove a ‘believer’ is actually overcoming his own flesh. That is the mark of the Ru’akh of God.
The title calls to mind a verse that is very early in Scripture, in spite of many men thinking that God’s Spirit was a ‘new’ thing in Acts 2.
לֹא יָדוֹן רוּחִי בָאָדָם לְעֹלָם בְּשַׁגַּם הוּא בָשָׂר
“My Ru’akh” will not ‘strive’ with mankind forever, in that he is FLESH”… Gen 6:5
This was just before God called No’akh to build an ark, because He had decided to flood the earth and destroy all mankind. What was going on, such that God said He was ‘striving’ with mankind and would no longer do so?
Men were only evil, always; the thoughts of their heart was utterly wicked; violence was in the earth. Sounds about like today?
And yet God calls out to mankind, through the foolishness of human preaching: men, declaring that there is a God who is calling for His creation to behave.
The Spirit of God is the very breath and Presence of God extended to earth. God sits on His Throne. Yeshua stands beside Him. But, His “Spirit” comes to us through Yeshua by trust and confession. When God speaks to a person, He is doing so by His Breath/Spirit, through His Son Yeshua, or not at all. And whatever is said must match the counsel of His Word.
His Son Yeshua is the embodiment of The Word of God: [John 1:1] The Word of God is God’s PERFECTLY EXPRESSED WILL. So, what the written Word of God says cannot be violated by anyone that ‘says’ they heard the voice of God on a matter! Anyone who says they are filled with His Spirit had better be echoing His Word on matters of doctrine, or, they have gone astray. OR, they were never on the right path in the first place, and they do not know God.
The first and foremost fact of the Scriptures after knowing there is a Creator God named יהוה is that Yeshua is the Son of God; that God the Creator sent Him into the world to die in the place of all sinners; Yeshua took the sin of all mankind into His flesh. He has offered SALVATION [‘Yeshua’ means Salvation] to all mankind. Anyone who recognizes that they are selfish sinners, and trusts that God has forgiven them, can be SAVED, and given the gift of the Ru’akh HaKodesh, the Holy Spirit of God, the seal of His Presence in our lives. And from that point on, they can begin to pursue Him. They are granted the perfection of Yeshua in the courtroom of Heaven, and sent into the world to reflect that perfection as much as possible, through obedience to His Word. Further than that, a person who is pursuing the righteousness of God can also be given certain spiritual power to do His Work. But, some people seek that power apart from His Righteousness.
The litmus test, and the only one, to see if someone has the Ru’akh, the very Breath and Power of God, is whether or not they can confess who Yeshua is:
“3Therefore I want you to understand that no man speaking by Ru’akh HaElohim [The Spirit of God] calls Yeshua accursed; and that no man can say that Yeshua is יהוה but by The Ru’akh HaKodesh. [Holy Spirit]” 1 Cor 12
It is sad, but the Jewish Rabbis call Yeshua accursed. In fact, their pejorative name for Him, “Yeshoo”, is a curse. They do not know God.
God leaves a little bit up to us, in terms of how we represent Him on the earth. Yeshua did so perfectly [Heb 1:1-3]. We will not. But we must strive to live as close to the mark of perfection as we can [Phil 3:14].
And God does grant us His Ru’akh, and the power of it, to do just that. However, today, people have perverted what that means. HaSatan has perverted what that means.
First, it has been taught that the Spirit OF/FROM GOD is a separate person in a three-part monster “godhead”. They violate the very nature of God!
Yeshua Himself said that the greatest commandment is to acknowledge that God is ONE, and His Name is יהוה .
In Mark 12, Yeshua is encountered by a Scribe, a very educated Jewish person:
So he [the scribe] asked Him, “Which is the first [most important] mitzvah [Torah command] of all?” 29Yeshua said to him, “The first of all the mitzvot is,
‘Shema, Yisra’el, יהוה Eloheinu, יהוה Ekhad! [Hear O Yisra’el, יהוה is our God, יהוה is One]. 30And you must love יהוה your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your might;’ this is the first mitzvah. 31And the second is like unto it, ‘You must love your neighbor as your own soul.’ There is no other mitzvah greater than these two.”
There is One God, and He sent His Son into the world, and after He raised His Son from the dead, He gave all power [His Spirit] to Him, and now Yeshua gives us of His Spirit when we trust in Him and confess to God the Father that we trust in His Son for our forgiveness.
This is exactly what Kefa taught, Peter, the first person ever to preach the gospel after having been taught for 3 and 1/2 years by Yeshua Himself:
31So he foresaw and spoke concerning the resurrection of Messiah, that His [Messiah Yeshua’s] soul was not left in She’ol, neither did his body see decay. 32This very Yeshua, God has raised up, and we are all His witnesses. 33It is He who is exalted by the right hand of God, and [Yeshua] has received from The Father the promise of The Ru’akh HaKodesh, and [Yeshua] has poured out this gift which you now see and hear. 34For David did not ascend into the heavens, because he himself said, ‘ יהוה said to My Adon, ‘Sit at my right hand, 35until I make your foes your footstool.’ 36Therefore let all The House of Yisra’el know assuredly that God has made this very Yeshua, whom you have executed, both יהוה and Messiah.”
Peter said Messiah had been given the very power and Spirit of God. This is why that same Spirit is now also called, “Ru’akh HaMashi’akh”, The Spirit of Messiah:
“9But you are not in the flesh but in HaRu’akh, if Ru’akh HaElohim [the Spirit of God] truly dwells within you. Now if any man does not have the Ru’akh HaMashi’akh [Spirit of Messiah, same Spirit], he does not belong to Him.” Rom 8
Peter was striving to get them to meet the one litmus test: “3Therefore I want you to understand that no man speaking by Ru’akh HaElohim [the Spirit of God] calls Yeshua accursed; and that no man can say that Yeshua is יהוה but by The Ru’akh HaKodesh.” 1 Cor 12
And when they believed, they asked Peter what they should do:
“Repent [turn away from breaking Torah] and be immersed, every one of you, in the Name of יהוה Yeshua [the Name Peter said had been given to Yeshua after rising from the dead], for the remission of sins, so that you may receive the gift of The Ru’akh HaKodesh [The Holy Spirit, which has been given to Yeshua in Heaven]. 39For the promise was made to you and to your children, and for all of those who are far off, even as many as the very God shall call.” 40And he testified to them with many other words and besought them, saying, “Save yourselves from this sinful generation.” [Acts 2]
Everything for salvation beyond that is manmade, circular logic, and intellectual games. The gospel does not progress over time, as the Catholic Church teaches, and as most blindly have followed. It never changes!
It is important to note here that the 500 spoke in other languages that they did not know, by the power of His Spirit, but, the 3,000 who were saved that day by Peter’s declaration did not! They were transformed. They subjected themselves to the teachings of the Apostles; they fellowshipped with believers in Yeshua; they shared their lives with one another; they went to the Temple daily; they broke bread together. Yes, the apostles continued to do miracles, but the believers who were immersed that day simply lived their lives following Messiah.
So, why do so many people today think that every single person that names “Jesus” as their “lord and savior” must experience some kind of miraculous power on a daily basis? Why do so many people insist that one must ‘speak in tongues’ in order to ‘prove’ that they have the “holy ghost”? Because they have been led astray, and they do not follow the Word of God.
There are indeed several ways that God’s Spirit can and does ‘manifest’ in people. However, no one is the arbiter over who does what, except Yeshua Himself. It is HIS WILL that decides who does what in His Kingdom, by His Power. Some people may never, ever experience anything supernatural, other than coming out of darkness and into the LIGHT of Messiah Yeshua, which is the biggest, most powerful miracle of all, so much so that the angels in Heaven rejoice every time it happens! That is the most powerful miracle, especially in the day we live in. To say that if they do not speak in tongues then they do not have the “holy ghost” is tantamount to blasphemy, because those arrogant people are DENYING the power of God in a person’s life, power that saves them and transforms them, by their own confession.
The Spirit of God is indeed the source of His Power. Especially the power not to sin. And, it is a gift. But, the several ‘powers’ and ‘gifts’ of the Spirit which are enumerated in the Bible, are above and beyond the gift of the Spirit itself, and very few people actually really experience it. Many do, but by far, many more experience the lying wonders of HaSatan.
When Yeshua died and rose again, on that very day, He first visited Miryam at the Tomb, very early in the morning, long before sun up. Then, that evening, He visited 10 of the Talmidim, as Judas had died, and Thomas was not there. When He visited them, He showed them His hands and his side, and told them that He was a flesh and bone man just as they are, and proved to them He was their teacher, risen from the dead. Then, he “BREATHED” on them and told them “Receive the Ru’akh HaKodesh”, receive the distinct/set apart BREATH of God.
22And when He had said these things, He breathed on them and said to them, “Receive The Ru’akh HaKodesh… [Yokhanan/John 20]
They trusted that Yeshua was He, that He had been raised from the dead, and so Yeshua gave them the same gift God had given Him. However, He told them to wait in Jerusalem so that they could then receive “ko’akh”, spiritual might, to go out and do the work for which they were called. Anyone who does not realize that they were given a greater measure of God’s power than anyone who would follow them is at best presumptuous, and at worst, a false prophet. They waited in Jerusalem until that day that the Ru’akh descended like fire on them and the other 500, causing them to speak all the known languages of the day, since Jews and converted gentiles were flooded into Jerusalem from all over the world for the feast of Shavu’ot, which most people today errantly call “pentecost”. They think it is all about ‘speaking in tongues’. It is not. It is about the declaration of the gospel and the praises of God in sensible, earthly languages, so that the first JEWS would believe the gospel that was given to them first. As stated, not all of them ended up speaking in other languages that day.
Several places list the various powers of the Spirit, beyond just ‘speaking in tongues’: Romans 12, Ephesians, 4, and 1 Cor 12-14 are the most notable. But, the first place where all of these powers are mentioned is in a prophecy about Messiah in the ‘Old Testament’:
1“And there shall come forth a shoot out of the stock of Yishai, and a branch shall grow forth out of his roots. 2And the [1] Ru’akh יהוה [Spirit of יהוה ײ ] shall rest upon him [like it did at His immersion], the Ru’akh [2 & 3] Khokhma and Binah [wisdom and understanding], the Ru’akh [4 & 5] Etzah and G’vorah [counsel and might] , the Ru’akh [6 & 7] Da’at and Yirat יהוה [knowledge and the Fear of יהוה ] . [Isaiah 11]
This is the ‘sevenfold Spirit’ that burns in front of the throne, as seen in the Revelation:
“and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Rukhot/Spirits of God.” [Rev 4:5]
This is the Menorah! That is why the Menorah was fashioned for the Temple to stand in front of the veil, which represented Yeshua’s body until such time that He would return to Heaven in His Body. The Menorah is symbolized by an Olive Tree in the prophets. The Ru’akh is the “Life-giving Spirit”, and thus, Yeshua’s execution is the “Tree of Life”, which is symbolized by the Torah itself, the Word of God. None of this is coincidence:

The Seven[fold] Spirit[s] of God embody the Character of Yeshua, which was imprinted in His Flesh; out of the ONE SPIRIT all the necessary powers for life and godliness come to us. Anything that is called a ‘gift of the spirit’ derives from one of these ‘lamps’.
Romans 12 is the first place in Scripture that tells us of specific powers that God gives us by His Spirit, and these are powers for “Motivation”, spurning the Congregation on toward love and good deeds, as the Book of Hebrews tells us to do. It is another “Menorah” of spiritual things:

6Having then gifts differing according to the compassion that is given to us: some have the gift of nevu’ah [prophecy], according to the measure of absolute trust, 7some have the gift of ministration, in their ministry; and some of teaching, in their doctrine. 8Some of consolation, in consoling; he that gives, let him do it with sincerity; he that rules, with diligence; he that shows mercy, with cheerfulness.
The most comprehensive list of ‘gifts of the Spirit’, which are for Manifestations of the Spirit, and are indeed real, is in the book of 1 Corinthians 12:

8For to one is given in The Spirit [HaRu’akh] the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge in the same Ru’akh. 9To another, absolute trust in the same Spirit [Ru’akh]; to another gifts of healing in the same Spirit [Ru’akh]; 10to another, the working of miracles; to another, prophecy [nevu’ah]; to another, the means to discern spirits; to another, different languages; to another, the interpretation of languages. 11But all of these gifts are wrought in that one and the same Spirit [Ru’akh], dividing to every one severally according to His Will.
First Paul lists a “Khanukiah”, the 9-branched Menorah of Khanukah, where there are nine specific gifts given for the purpose of manifesting the Spirit of God in the believer, but Sha’ul stresses that this is about the ONENESS of the Body of Messiah. And he makes sure that his reader understands that NO ONE is more special in His Kingdom than the next; and in fact, those who ‘seem’ unimportant are the most important. Like Yeshua said, “The first shall be last, and the last shall be first”. In the Hebrew mind, ‘first’ is synonymous to ‘important’.
Then, he finally lists offices and gifts:
27Now you are the Body of Messiah, and members in your respective places. 28For God has set in His assembly, first Shlikhim [Sent ones, Apostles]; after them, nevi’im [prophets]; then teachers, then performers of miracles, then those who have the gift of healing, helpers, leaders, and speakers in diverse languages. 29Are all Shlikhim? [NO!] Are all nevi’im? [NO!] Are all teachers? [NO!] Are all workers of miracles? [NO!] 30Have all the gifts of healing? [NO!] Do all speak in diverse languages? [NO!] Or do all interpret? [NO!] 31But, if you are searching for the greater gifts, I will show you a more excellent way.
And then Paul explains that anything done in the Spirit, if truly done in the Spirit, is done because of LOVE.
And then He tells us which are indeed the ‘greater’, or ‘more important’ gifts of the Spirit:
1Follow after love, and desire gifts of the Ru’akh, above all that you may prophesy to one another.
Prophecy is rooted in that middle candle, on the ‘tree’ of the Menorah: “Etzah”, the Counsel of God. To prophesy does not mean to predict the future, to read minds, to tell people’s secrets, etc. It is to give His Congregation the Counsel of God, according to His Word, which can sometimes come with warnings of destruction, but more importantly, what to DO in the face of it. Today, people fixate on “prophets” who are actually “profits” who consistently predict either doom and gloom [for their enemies] or prosperity and riches for their followers. That is not prophecy. That is soothsaying.
God tells us how to spot a true prophet and a false prophet:
20But the prophet that shall speak a word presumptuously in My Name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, that same prophet shall die.’ 21And if you say in your heart, “How shall we know the word which יהוה has not spoken?” 22When a prophet speaks in the Name of יהוה , if the thing follows not, or does not come to pass, that is the thing which יהוה has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously, you shall not be afraid of him.” Deu 18
And:
2“If there arises in the midst of you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and he gives you a sign or a wonder, 3and the sign or the wonder comes to pass, whereof he spoke unto you, saying, ‘Let us go after other gods, which you have not known, and let us serve them;’ 4you shall not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or unto that dreamer of dreams; for יהוה your God puts you to test, to know whether you do love יהוה your God with all your heart and with all your soul. 5After יהוה your God shall you walk, and Him shall you fear, and His Commandments shall you keep, and unto His voice shall you hearken, and Him shall you serve, and unto Him shall you cleave. 6And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he has spoken perversion against יהוה your God.” Deu 13
The short of it is, anyone who claims to be a prophet, but their life and behavior does not meet with the commandments, they are not a prophet. If they prophesy something, and it does not come to pass, they are a false prophet. There are so many of those today who spout prophecy all the time, and yet no one holds them accountable, neither for their error in prophesying lies, nor for their errant behavior.
Further, any other ‘power’ that is spiritual and is not in accord with the Word of God, it is a false spirit. HaSatan does ‘lying wonders’, ‘false miracles’, all the time, including speaking in tongues. Just go to a charismatic Muslim assembly, or Hindu assembly, where they do the very same thing as certain xtian assemblies do: dance, shout, speak in tongues, emote…. that, in and of itself, does not mean the HOLY Spirit of God is in the place or the people. We are supposed to ‘discern’ spirits, and ‘discernment’ is a power of the Ru’akh HaKodesh, and is mandatory, though so many people know not of it. And the discerning spirit will understand the guidelines of what is His Spirit, or ANOTHER spirit:
22Who is a liar but he who denies that Yeshua is the Messiah? He is a false Messiah, and whoever denies The Father, denies The Son also. 23Whoever denies The Son, the same does not believe in The Father; but whoever acknowledges The Son acknowledges The Father also. 24As for you, let that, therefore, abide in you which you have heard from the very beginning. For if that which you have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, you also shall continue in The Father and in The Son. 1 Jo 2
1My beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to find out if they are of Elohim, because many false prophets have appeared in the world. 2Ru’akh HaElohim is known by this: every spirit which declares that Yeshua HaMashi’akh is come in flesh is from Elohim. 3And every spirit which does not declare that Yeshua HaMashi’akh is come in flesh is not from Elohim, but it is the spirit of the false Mashi’akh, of whose coming you have heard and who is even now already in the world. 1 Jo 4
As hard as it is for people today to believe, there are indeed preachers and prophets out there, far too many of them, who do not know God! Many trinitarians deny that Yeshua is right now in a Body of flesh. Or, they deny that God the Father is sitting on the throne, and Yeshua is beside Him. Some will not or cannot say that Yeshua is the Messiah; they cannot confess that Yeshua is the Messiah of Israel. They cannot say that Yeshua is the Son of God… they are okay calling Jesus “god”, because they have a different Jesus than the scriptures. That is the very definition of the false Messiah, he exalts himself AS GOD. The Yeshua of Scripture is the Son of God, a man, who is divine in nature. Many, therefore, worship a different “Jesus”, just as Paul warned:
“2For I am zealous for you with the zealousness of God, for I have espoused you to a husband, [Yeshua] that I may present you as a pure virgin to Messiah. 3But I am afraid that just as the serpent, through his deceitfulness, misled Khavah [Eve], so your minds might be corrupted from the perfection that is in Messiah. 4For if he who has come to you declares another Yeshua whom we have not declared, or if you have received another spirit which you had not received, or another “good news” which you had not accepted, you might have given in.” 2 Cor 11 And many ancient ‘christians’ did give in to a different Jesus.
There are indeed other “Jesuses” out there, and other gospels, that are indeed different from what Paul and Peter, and all the other apostles preached. There are other spirits out there that are not holy, but that masquerade as His Spirit. Yet many people are not careful, and end up following after them. If a preacher/prophet/teacher cannot confess that Yeshua is the Son of God, then he does not know God. If he prophesies and falls short or lies, he needs to be held accountable. If he leads people away from the Creator and His Son altogether, he will perish in his sin.
Just like the gift of prophecy can be faked, so can all the others, including ‘tongues’.
Tongues is not some ‘otherworldly’ ability. It is God speaking through people in intelligible languages, just as He showed us in the book of Acts in Acts 2.
The ability to speak in a language unknown to the speaker, therefore, is real. But, the notion that there are languages that only angels know is poppycock, based on a mistranslation:
“Though I speak with every language among men and among Messengers, and have not love in my heart, I am become as a sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal.” 1 Cor 13
There is no case anywhere in scripture where Messengers, or angels, speak in any other language than Hebrew. It is certain, however, that they can communicate with whomever God wants them to communicate, in whatever earthly language. And, we know that the Messengers watch over us, and that each congregation founded by Messiah has at least one Messenger [Rev 1:20, 2:1, etc]. But certain people teach that there are ‘angelic tongues’ that people can speak at will, and they do so willy-nilly when they assemble, and some even say that they must do so, or they do not have the ‘Holy Ghost’, or worse, are not saved at all. That is a flat out lie. They do not heed the scriptures, which tell us that of all power that comes from God, this is the least important, and should be the least sought, yet for some, that is all they seek:
1Follow after love, and desire gifts of the Ru’akh, above all that you may prophesy to one another. 2For he who speaks in an unknown language speaks not to men, but to God; for no man understands what he says; however, through HaRu’akh he speaks mysteries. 3But, he who prophesies speaks to men for edification, encouragement, and comfort. 4He who speaks in an unknown language edifies himself [it can tend to be a selfish gift] but he who prophesies edifies the congregation. 5I would that you all spoke various languages, but I would rather that you prophesied; for he who prophesies is greater than he who speaks in another language, unless he interprets; however, if he interprets, he edifies the congregation.” [1 Cor 14]
Paul goes on to explain the purpose of the least of the gifts, using the Torah, that most tongue-talkers ignore:
21In the Torah it is written “With a foreign speech and in another language I will speak to this people; yet for all that, they will not listen to me, says יהוה .” Thus22, the gift of languages is instituted as a sign, not for believers, but for unbelievers; [1 Cor 14]
This is exactly what it did at Shavu’ot some 20 years before Paul wrote these words! Speaking in the known languages of the day showed some people who had not as yet come to believe that Yeshua had risen from the dead, as a sign.
…but prophesying is meant not for those who do not believe, but for those who believe. 23If therefore the whole congregation assembles together and all speak in different languages, and there enters unlearned people, or unbelievers, will they not say, “They are crazy!” [1 Cor 14]
And indeed people do! Yet ‘charismatic’ congregations persist in tongue wagging anyway, driving many people away from the Gospel. And, based on my experience, most of what people are calling ‘tongues’ today is just that, ‘tongue-wagging’, non-sensible mumbo jumbo, to appear spiritual. Some of it is, however, demonic spirits that do not submit to Yeshua.
Paul goes on to explain how things should go in an assembly that belongs to Messiah:
24But if all prophesy, and an unlearned man or an unbeliever enters, he will be examined by all, and he will be reproved by all. 25Thus, the secrets of his heart will be revealed, and then he will fall on his face, and he will worship God and say, “Truly God is among you.”
Prophecy is the greatest of the powers of the Spirit, and speaking in an unknown language is the least of the powers, and it is for self…
As I stated at the onset, I have, and still do experience the Power of His Spirit. I once spoke in another language when down on my knees in prayer after my daughter called me because she was in mortal danger at her prom; I was shown in my mind the culprit driving away from the school as I prayed, repeating a phrase several times, such that I remembered it after praying. That person did indeed drive away at the very moment I was praying and ‘seeing’ him do so. I told my wife the phrase I had said over and over, among the other words, and I told her that it sounded Chinese, as it has every time I’ve ever experienced that power. We had a Chinese dry-cleaner at the time, and my wife remembered the phrase the next time she went into the dry-cleaner, and she asked them, and they interpreted it for her. It was, “Thank you very much”, which is rife throughout the psalms, our book of prayers.
My whole family, each one of us, has been healed miraculously, at one time or another, on the spot. I have ‘seen’ visions of people I did not know, and gone to them at God’s direction. I have experienced visions, and prophetic dreams, many times. There are many supernatural experiences we have had, and they are undeniable. But, we do not live in a constant ‘need’ of experiencing “goose bumps” and “emotions” and tongue wagging and seeing miracles every day. As I said, the biggest miracle for which we pray is CHANGED HEARTS, the gift of LIFE being given to people, bringing them out of darkness and into His light.
The ‘powers’ of the Ru’akh HaKodesh may never be ‘felt’ or ‘seen’ by many; SOME people will never experience anything like that. And they are probably the greater for it! It is probably people who struggle more with truth that seek after ‘miracles’ and ‘feelings’, and sometimes, God does oblige. However, there is an army of liars out there convincing people of fallacies and leading them astray into spiritual games, distracting them from being changed from day to day.
Again, anyone who can say that Yeshua is the Son of God, and that God raised Him from the dead, and that He gave Him His Name, יהוה, that one already is ‘sealed’ by the indelible mark of the Ru’akh HaKodesh, which is irrevocable. Be confident in that, and then SEEK LOVE, so that we are motivated to seek after the gift of God in truth, for HIS glory, and not our own.
You want His Spirit? Simply ask. You want the gifts of the Spirit, obey Him, seek to love as He loves, and put yourself out there to minister/serve… HE will enable you as HE sees fit. Submit to someone who knows these things and can guide you into His Truth. They are out there; they are just few and far between.
26But the Comforter, The Ru’akh HaKodesh, which My Father will send in my Name, will teach you everything, and remind you of everything which I tell you. 27Shalom I leave with you; my own shalom I give you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, and do not be afraid.”
If you know Him, you have His Ru’akh; pursue serving Him, and the power will be there…
