The Universe is a clock. How is it do you think that mankind was able to predict the exact moment of this in every city? Magic? No! Mathematics. Which is what they use to build clocks.
The event we saw yesterday was not a divine anomaly that was a prophetic intervention. If it is a sign, it’s a sign that the community of ‘faith’ will believe just about anything.
The Adversary has been taking bits of truth and mixing it with sensationalism for nigh at six millennia now. And all the “Adams and Eves” out there just keep taking the bait.
Eclipses happen almost yearly, and total solar eclipses happen relatively frequently on the grand scale of things. Lunar eclipses are very similarly regular.
None of them are signs, or the fulfillment of prophecy. What may be a ‘sign of the times’, however, is how people use them for click bait, and worse, for deceit and extortion.
I have only heard bits and pieces of what people were saying about this particular one yesterday, 04/08/24. I’ve heard through others that some were saying the tribulation would start, that Jesus is going to come back, etc. But, the one I saw myself to affirm a doomsday message was most asinine: that the path of the eclipses over the last three years makes an “alef” and a “tav” across the U.S.
Oy.
First of all, the assertion was based on Paleo Hebrew, and the pattern does not clearly make even those letters. The tav in their assertion was actually part of the alef.
These are the ‘wing-nuts’ in the “Messianic” and “Hebrew Roots” streams of thought. They think everything goes back to Paleo. They ignore scriptures on Yeshua’s name. And they ignore Yeshua’s authority, and do not see Yeshua as the centerpiece of the time clock. Everything revolves around Him, including the Hebrew alphabet.
There is not one Torah scroll written with Paleo characters. Not one. Every ancient Torah scroll is written in “K’tav Ivri”, the alphabet we still use today. Yes, the Isaiah scroll from Qumran [Dead Sea Scrolls], which I have seen with my own eyes, has God’s Sacred Name [only] written in Paleo, but every other word in the scrolls is in K’tav Ivri.
When Yeshua went into a synagogue and read Isaiah 61:1-2, however, He read it in K’tav Ivri. When He said “Not one yod, nor one tag” יוֹד אַחַת אוֹ תָּג אֶחָד will pass from the Torah [Matt 5:18], he intimated that the yod was the smallest letter, and went even smaller to the ‘tag’, the little horns on the ends of the letters; in Paleo, the yod is the largest letter! Paleo is NOT the standard.
Yeshua did not use Paleo. He certified the scriptures of His Day, by showing up when K’tav Ivri was the defacto standard, by reading them, and by establishing the Jewish canon as legit: “From the blood of Righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah the prophet” was an acknowledgement of the first book of the “Tanak”, the “Old Testament”, and the last book, in the Jewish order of reading [Zechariah dies in the last chapters of 2nd Chronicles, which is the last book in a “Jewish Bible”, and that order was established when K’tav Ivri was the standard. The Alef and Tav seen above are the letters Yeshua called Himself. And they look nothing like the hot mess people were posting yesterday and saying He was going to come back.
The “Blood Moon” everyone got excited over a few years back, and about which a messianic “Rabbi” made a fortune off of, was just a cyclical lunar eclipse. They happen ALL THE TIME. And his ‘predictions’ have proven him a liar. Yet most people still buy his stuff.
Those ‘red’ moons are NOT THE “blood moon” of scripture, because scriptures say that when that blood moon appears, it will be THE Great and Terrible Day of יהוה . These eclipses are cyclical. I’ve seen too many of them in my lifetime. Which one is going to finally hit and make someone “God’s prophet”? NONE of them! But by golly, these charlatans are going to try every time.
Further, people are saying that the earth is flat. And the moon is a flat disc that gives its own light. They ‘see’ that much of the world leadership has deceived us on other things, so they think everything is a lie, including the science behind how the universe works. They must not realize that most of the early western scientists were believers in God and had no nefarious agendas. Newton was a staunch believer in God and spent the last years of his life studying PROPHECY! And yet made not one “lunatic” Prediction based on eclipses! The picture above shows the moon as a sphere, bathed in the shadow, emitting no light of its own. A lunar eclipse is when the earth covers the moon in its shadow, and the shadow is circular, because the earth is a sphere, and not a disc. The math has proven this for CENTURIES.
What I took away from this eclipse is that the beauty of God’s creation is astounding. But, sadly, people are silly and gullible.
Let me be perfectly honest: He is going to come back to get His Bride. But, that will not be preceded by such an obvious sign. He will do that like a thief in the night. When He comes back in His WRATH to punish the wicked, that is when everyone will see Him, His ‘sign’ will appear in the sky, and then the sun will be darkened and the moon turned to blood. Those events will not be cyclical stellar events that happen all the time: they will be because something has burned up 1/3 of the earth, poisoned 1/3 of the seas, and killed billions of people. So, yes, get ready for His return if you believe in Him. But, when the disciples asked Him about end things, the very first words out of Yeshua’s mouth were: “Do not be deceived”.
The signs of the times that predict the catching away of His Bride are “the Days of Noah”, where peoples’ thoughts are ‘only evil continually,’ as Yeshua said, and as Paul described in detail:
1Know this, that in the Akharit HaYamim [Last Days] disastrous times will come. 2And men shall be lovers of themselves [check Tik Tok] and lovers of money, proud, conceited, blasphemers, disobedient to their own people, ungrateful, wicked, 3false accusers, addicts to lust, brutal, haters of good things, 4traitors, hasty, boasters, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5having a shade of the fear of God, but far from the power of God; from such turn away. 6For of this sort are those who creep into houses and captivate women sunken in sin, led away with diverse lusts, 7ever striving to learn, and never able to come to the knowledge of The Truth. [most women today lead their men spiritually, following some ‘profit’, and will not submit to The Word of God] 8Now just as Yanis and Yambris stood up against Moshe, so do these also [false prophets] resist the truth, men of corrupt minds and far off from The Faith. 9But they shall not progress, for their folly is well known to every man, even as that of the others [Yanis and Yambris] also was.
