Most people who find our website are looking for information.
Some are looking for a service time.
Some are looking for directions.
Some simply want to know whether we have children’s classes.
But if you’ve clicked on our webpage because something inside you has been stirring—because you’ve become weary of shallow religion, disappointed by division, hurt by hypocrisy, or simply curious whether there is more to knowing God than you’ve experienced—then there is one page on this website that matters more than any other.
It isn’t our media library.
It isn’t our calendar.
It isn’t even this post.
It’s our Beliefs page.
Because what a congregation believes determines everything else.
It determines how they worship.
How they teach.
How they raise children.
How they understand salvation.
How they interpret Scripture.
How they answer life’s hardest questions.
Whether they preach what is popular—or what they believe God has spoken.
Buildings don’t matter much.
Music styles change.
Personalities come and go.
But doctrine remains.
Perhaps you’ve become bored with religion.
Perhaps you’ve watched churches become more interested in entertainment than discipleship.
Perhaps you’ve been wounded by leaders who failed to live what they preached.
Perhaps you’ve spent years believing there must be more than thirty minutes of inspiration once a week.
Or perhaps you’ve never believed at all—but lately you’ve begun wondering whether God is real.
If that’s you…
Welcome.
You’re exactly the sort of person we hope will keep reading.
We’re not asking you to agree with us before you’ve examined the Scriptures.
We’re asking you to know who we are.
We believe honesty should come before attendance.
You deserve to know what we believe before you ever walk through our doors.
No surprises.
No hidden agenda.
No slowly revealing our convictions after you’ve invested months.
Everything important is there for you to examine.
You may notice that our Beliefs page is longer than many others.
That’s intentional.
Most doctrinal statements contain a sentence or two about dozens of subjects.
We wanted something different.
Not merely conclusions…
…but reasons.
Not slogans…
…but Scripture.
Not tradition…
…but thoughtful explanation.
Whether you ultimately agree with us or not, we hope you’ll at least know that these convictions were not adopted casually.
If, after reading, you think, “These people are trying to follow the same Scriptures I want to follow,” then come visit.
If you have questions, ask them.
If you disagree, let’s open the Bible together.
If you’ve been searching for years and wondering whether there are others who simply want to know God and walk as Messiah walked, we’d love to meet you.
And if, after reading, you conclude that another fellowship would be a better fit, we genuinely wish you well.
Finding a congregation isn’t about finding people exactly like yourself.
It’s about finding a people whose understanding of Scripture you can embrace with integrity before God.
So before you plan your visit…
Before you listen to a sermon…
Before you decide whether we’re “your kind of people”…
Please spend a little time with our Beliefs page.
Because that’s where you’ll discover not merely what we do…
…but why we do it.
And in the end, that’s what truly matters.
Don’t choose a congregation because it feels comfortable. Choose one because, after prayerfully examining the Scriptures, you believe it is striving to walk faithfully before יהוה. If that journey leads you here, we’d be honored to walk alongside you.”
