Trump This, Trump That!

We are entering a new season. There is a lot of ‘heat’, and people are becoming polarized. There are plenty of people that think that I am on the far right of the pendulum’s swing. They don’t know me.

Our country is barely hanging on right now. And many people think that Trump is its salvation. I do not. It is NOT that I think he is a horrible man. I do not. It is not that I will not vote for him. I will. But, it is that there are problems in our country that Trump simply cannot solve, and until they are dealt with, we will be watching the same clown show over and over, dealing with the ebb and flow of dem vs. rep, until such time as the American people realize they are pawns in the hands of a few.

Our problem is sin. NOT that there are those of us who are perfect, and everyone else is hell bound. But that there is a general idea that we can do whatever we want, and God just overlooks it.

On the left, there is no doubt that most dems are following the communist mantra of “will to power,” where conscience just stands in the way of one’s desire. “Their conscience has been seared as with a hot iron.” These people are less likely to contribute to the actual solution: repentance. But, if people were more confident and convinced of the truth of THE WORD OF GOD, it could happen.

The things this whole country needs to do spiritually to begin to get to the root of the problems, the driving force behind the motivation of the left and the ‘tolerance’ and equivocation of the right, are simple.

Return to trusting in The Creator.

Our founding documents speak of OUR CREATOR. Today, most Americans simply do not believe in CREATION. Every day, we pray Psalm 100, “He has made us, and NOT we ourselves”, whereas evolution teaches man that man made himself by ‘natural selection’, by climbing out of the primordial soup, and outlasting other species. That is a flat out lie.

Return to reverence for God.

It used to be that people feared God. Today, not even believers fear God. God has been transformed into a surfer dude who’s chill with everyone and all their behaviors.

Return to believing in the Son of God.

It used to be that believers trusted in the Son of God. Today, the Father has abdicated, and Jesus is God. Rare is the day that anyone declares Yeshua as the Son of God.

Stop killing babies.

Our country started killing babies first for racial purity and then for business. Since Roe v. Wade made it legal, 60 million + babies have been murdered. Murder is the baseless killing of life. Babies are alive; the scientific definition of life is basically an organism that can metabolize and create new cells. Hello. Abortion is murder. Stop it.

Keep the Sabbath.

The earliest believers in this country actually kept he Seventh Day Sabbath [Rhode Island’s Seventh Day Baptist Church]. But, even if they did not understand as yet that the Sabbath is Friday night to Saturday night, all believers had the understanding that God’s day was holy, and it was a day of rest, and no commerce. So, while they had the day wrong, they at least tried to be reverent on the day they had been told was the Sabbath. I have zero doubt that if all believers did what the Bible says and honored His Sabbath Day, like Yeshua does, we would definitely garner the favor of God.

Return to the 10 Commandments.

There are those who want to post the 10 commandments again in public buildings and schools. Good! I’m all for it. Those words were given to mankind by the Creator, and penned by His own hand into stone. But, let’s actually read them, especially that fourth one. And that fifth one, that says we will not commit adultery. That word includes all the sexual sin. We have become a nation of perversion, celebrating sexual deviance. Stop it.

Return to national prayer.

George Washington inaugurated the country in prayer. He led congress to a church in New York immediately after his inauguration to pray to God for and on behalf of our country. Congress opened each session praying to God. The God of America is not Allah, it is the Biblical Creator. We were declared to be a “Judeo-Christian Nation”, clearly understanding, as a body politic, that God was our source of blessing.

Leave paganism for pagans.

If someone claims to believe, stop practicing pagan rites. Fact: xmas, easter, halloween, they are chock full of pagan rites. Stop it. Our founders did not have xmas trees and easter eggs and goblin costumes, and tattoos.

Do these things, and people’s behaviors are fixed, and God smiles on America again.

So then, what do we do politically?

Return to the Constitution.

There are just a few simple things to do to get rid of all the political mayhem, and it can be done:

Hold an Article 5 “Convention of States”, which people are working toward, and do these things at that convention, and the country’s economic and political struggles will be minimized.

Repeal the 16th Amendment: The 16th amendment gave congress the right to levy an income tax. Before that, the constitution expressly forbade it, but since the 16th amendment, political corruption has skyrocketed. Lobbyists run our congressmen, and money motivates all of them. There is nothing I despise more, politically, than to hear that it is the civic duty of Americans to pay income tax, and that paying taxes is the mark of a good citizen. It infuriates me. Paying taxes is an admission to subservience!

National Sales Tax: People often complain that the rich do not pay taxes. Okay! Then let’s make them pay! Tax all goods at the federal level at a 5% or less rate, except on luxury items: high dollar, luxury cars/trucks, yachts, planes, etc, tax at a justifiable, higher rate. People will have nearly 50% more money in their pockets, and they are only taxed if they buy beyond the necessary. And like Trump, put tariffs on foreign goods. Take the burden off the lower middle class, and watch the middle class become ‘middle’ again.

Set term limits on congress: The offices of Senator and Representative were not created to be career, lifelong ‘jobs’. They were created to be a service one volunteers to do for one’s country. Today, all congressmen are very well paid, and most of them stay in office for a lifetime. It is corruption. They put their self interest above that of the country. FIRE ALL CONGRESSMEN who have been there for more than two terms, elect a new body, and limit their terms to two [or perhaps 3 for the House of Representatives]. Corruption goes away.

Get rid of the “Federal Reserve”: after all, it is not ‘federal’ at all. It is a private bank, and no one there is an elected representative, so they have bankers’ interests at heart. They manipulate the markets and the currency, behind a curtain.

Go back to the gold standard: turning our money into fiat currency in the early seventies has devalued our money. We were the world’s ‘reserve currency’, but that is changing with efforts like BRICS, because the dollar is crumbling. There is no way to fix this quicker than getting rid of fiat currency and the threat of the digital dollar.

Do these things, and the country will survive. The latter half could be done absent of the spiritual tasks, if people could be persuaded; but, without the spiritual return to right thinking, it is likely not enough people will be persuaded, because they are still following LIES.

And above all: pray!

Trump has some of these ideas, but he is weak on influencing people toward faith, and weak on a Convention of States and the necessary root cause changes. Congress will NEVER limit their own terms.  A Convention of States is the only way those things will ever happen.

An appetite for and a commitment to prayer and repentance is the only way the other will ever happen. Apart from these, we will continue to spiral toward calamity.

The Congress, whenever two thirds of both houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose amendments to this Constitution, or, on the application of the legislatures of two thirds of the several states, shall call a convention for proposing amendments, which, in either case, shall be valid to all intents and purposes, as part of this Constitution, when ratified by the legislatures of three fourths of the several states, or by conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other mode of ratification may be proposed by the Congress; provided that no amendment which may be made prior to the year one thousand eight hundred and eight shall in any manner affect the first and fourth clauses in the ninth section of the first article; and that no state, without its consent, shall be deprived of its equal suffrage in the Senate.
