1God of vegeance, יהוה , God of vengeance, shine forth.
2Lift up Yourself, O Judge of the earth; render to the proud their recompense.
3 יהוה , how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked exult?
4They gush out, they speak arrogance; all the workers of iniquity bear themselves loftily.
5They crush Your people, O יהוה , and afflict Your heritage.
6They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.
7And they say, “Yah will not see, neither will the Elohim of Ya’akov give heed.”
8Consider, you brutish among the people; and you fools, when will you understand?
9He that planted the ear, shall He not hear? He that formed the eye, shall He not see?
10He that instructs nations, shall not He correct? Even He that teaches man knowledge?
11 יהוה knows the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.
12Happy is the man whom You instruct, O יהוה , and teach out of Your Torah;
13That You may give him rest from the days of evil, until the pit is digged for the wicked.
14For יהוה will not cast off His people, neither will He forsake His inheritance.
15For eternal righteousness will return justice, and all the upright in heart shall follow it.
16Who will rise up for me against the evil-doers? Who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?
17Unless יהוה had been my help, my soul would have soon dwelt in silence.
18If I say, “My foot slips”, Your compassion, O יהוה , holds me up.
19When my cares are many within me, Your comforts delight my soul.
20Shall the seat of wickedness have fellowship with You, which frames mischief by statute?
21They gather themselves together against the soul of a Tzadik, and condemn innocent blood.
22But יהוה has been my high tower, and my Elohim the Rock of my refuge.
23And He has brought upon them their own iniquity, and will cut them off in their own evil; יהוה our Elohim will cut them off.
אאֵל נְקָמוֹת יהוה ; אֵל נְקָמוֹת הוֹפִיעַ.
בהִנָּשֵׂא שֹׁפֵט הָאָרֶץ; הָשֵׁב גְּמוּל עַל גֵּאִים.
געַד מָתַי רְשָׁעִים יהוה : עַד מָתַי רְשָׁעִים יַעֲלֹזוּ.
דיַבִּיעוּ יְדַבְּרוּ עָתָק; יִתְאַמְּרוּ כָּל פֹּעֲלֵי אָוֶן.
העַמְּךָ יהוה יְדַכְּאוּ; וְנַחֲלָתְךָ יְעַנּוּ.
ואַלְמָנָה וְגֵר יַהֲרֹגוּ; וִיתוֹמִים יְרַצֵּחוּ.
זוַיֹּאמְרוּ לֹא יִרְאֶה יָּהּ; וְלֹא יָבִין אֱלֹהֵי יַעֲקֹב.
חבִּינוּ בֹּעֲרִים בָּעָם; וּכְסִילִים מָתַי תַּשְׂכִּילוּ.
טהֲנֹטַע אֹזֶן הֲלֹא יִשְׁמָע; אִם יֹצֵר עַיִן הֲלֹא יַבִּיט.
יהֲיֹסֵר גּוֹיִם הֲלֹא יוֹכִיחַ: הַמְלַמֵּד אָדָם דָּעַת.
יא יהוה יֹדֵעַ מַחְשְׁבוֹת אָדָם: כִּי הֵמָּה הָבֶל.
יבאַשְׁרֵי הַגֶּבֶר אֲשֶׁר תְּיַסְּרֶנּוּ יָּהּ; וּמִתּוֹרָתְךָ תְלַמְּדֶנּוּ.
יגלְהַשְׁקִיט לוֹ מִימֵי רָע עַד יִכָּרֶה לָרָשָׁע שָׁחַת.
ידכִּי לֹא יִטֹּשׁ יהוה עַמּוֹ; וְנַחֲלָתוֹ לֹא יַעֲזֹב.
טוכִּי עַד צֶדֶק יָשׁוּב מִשְׁפָּט; וְאַחֲרָיו כָּל יִשְׁרֵי לֵב.
טזמִי יָקוּם לִי עִם מְרֵעִים; מִי יִתְיַצֵּב לִי עִם פֹּעֲלֵי אָוֶן.
יזלוּלֵי יהוה עֶזְרָתָה לִּי כִּמְעַט שָׁכְנָה דוּמָה נַפְשִׁי.
יחאִם אָמַרְתִּי מָטָה רַגְלִי; חַסְדְּךָ יהוה יִסְעָדֵנִי.
יטבְּרֹב שַׂרְעַפַּי בְּקִרְבִּי תַּנְחוּמֶיךָ יְשַׁעַשְׁעוּ נַפְשִׁי.
כהַיְחָבְרְךָ כִּסֵּא הַוּוֹת; יֹצֵר עָמָל עֲלֵי חֹק.
כאיָגוֹדּוּ עַל נֶפֶשׁ צַדִּיק; וְדָם נָקִי יַרְשִׁיעוּ.
כבוַיְהִי יהוה לִי לְמִשְׂגָּב; וֵאלֹהַי לְצוּר מַחְסִי.
כגוַיָּשֶׁב עֲלֵיהֶם אֶת אוֹנָם וּבְרָעָתָם יַצְמִיתֵם; יַצְמִיתֵם יהוה אֱלֹהֵינוּ.
