1A Mizmor, a Song. For Yom HaShabbat.
2It is good to give thanks unto יהוה , and to sing praises unto Your Name, O Elyon;
3To declare Your compassion in the morning, and Your faithfulness in the night seasons,
4With an Asor, and with the Nevel; with a solemn sound upon the Kinor.
5For You, יהוה , have made me glad through Your work; I will exult in the works of Your hands.
6How great are Your works, O יהוה ! Your thoughts are very deep.
7A brutish man knows not, neither does a fool understand this.
8When the wicked spring up as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they may be destroyed forever.
9But You, O יהוה , are on high for evermore.
10For, lo, Your enemies, O יהוה , for, lo, Your enemies shall perish: all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.
11But my horn have You exalted like the horn of the wild ox; I am anointed with rich oil.
12My eye also has gazed on them that lie in wait for me, my ears have heard my desire for the evil-doers that rise up against me.
13A Tzadik shall flourish like the palm tree; he shall grow like a cedar in Levanon.
14Planted in Beit יהוה , they shall flourish in the courts of our Elohim.
15They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be full of sap and richness;
16To declare that יהוה is upright, my Rock, in whom there is no unrighteousness.
אמִזְמוֹר שִׁיר לְיוֹם הַשַּׁבָּת.
בטוֹב לְהֹדוֹת לַיהוה ; וּלְזַמֵּר לְשִׁמְךָ עֶלְיוֹן.
גלְהַגִּיד בַּבֹּקֶר חַסְדֶּךָ; וֶאֱמוּנָתְךָ בַּלֵּילוֹת.
דעֲלֵי עָשׂוֹר וַעֲלֵי נָבֶל; עֲלֵי הִגָּיוֹן בְּכִנּוֹר.
הכִּי שִׂמַּחְתַּנִי יהוה בְּפָעֳלֶךָ; בְּמַעֲשֵׂי יָדֶיךָ אֲרַנֵּן.
ומַה גָּדְלוּ מַעֲשֶׂיךָ יהוה ; מְאֹד עָמְקוּ מַחְשְׁבֹתֶיךָ.
זאִישׁ בַּעַר לֹא יֵדָע; וּכְסִיל לֹא יָבִין אֶת זֹאת.
חבִּפְרֹחַ רְשָׁעִים כְּמוֹ עֵשֶׂב וַיָּצִיצוּ כָּל פֹּעֲלֵי אָוֶן: לְהִשָּׁמְדָם עֲדֵי עַד.
טוְאַתָּה מָרוֹם לְעֹלָם יהוה .
יכִּי הִנֵּה אֹיְבֶיךָ יהוה כִּי הִנֵּה אֹיְבֶיךָ יֹאבֵדוּ: יִתְפָּרְדוּ כָּל פֹּעֲלֵי אָוֶן.
יאוַתָּרֶם כִּרְאֵים קַרְנִי; בַּלֹּתִי בְּשֶׁמֶן רַעֲנָן.
יבוַתַּבֵּט עֵינִי בְּשׁוּרָי: בַּקָּמִים עָלַי מְרֵעִים תִּשְׁמַעְנָה אָזְנָי.
יגצַדִּיק כַּתָּמָר יִפְרָח; כְּאֶרֶז בַּלְּבָנוֹן יִשְׂגֶּה.
ידשְׁתוּלִים בְּבֵית יהוה ; בְּחַצְרוֹת אֱלֹהֵינוּ יַפְרִיחוּ.
טועוֹד יְנוּבוּן בְּשֵׂיבָה; דְּשֵׁנִים וְרַעֲנַנִּים יִהְיוּ.
טזלְהַגִּיד כִּי יָשָׁר יהוה ; צוּרִי וְלֹא עלתה (עַוְלָתָה) בּוֹ.
