1Pavlos, and Silvanus, and Timoteus, to the congregation of the Tesalonikim which is in Elohim HaAv, and in Adoneinu Yeshua HaMashi’akh: compassion unto you, and shalom.
2We give thanks to Elohim always for you all, remembering you continually in our prayers, 3mentioning before Elohim HaAv the works of your absolute trust, and the labor of your love, and the patience of your hope in Adoneinu Yeshua HaMashi’akh. 4For we know that you are the elected ones, my brethren, and beloved of Elohim. 5For our declaration to you was not in words only, but also in power, and with The Ru’akh HaKodesh, and with sincere assurance; and you know also how we lived among you for your sakes.
6And you became followers of us and of Adoneinu, for you welcomed HaDavar with much tribulation, and with joy of The Ru’akh HaKodesh; 7thus you have become examples to all the believers in Macedonia and Achaia. 8Not only have you sounded out the D’var of Adoneinu in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your absolute trust in Elohim has been heard, so that we need not speak anything about you. 9For these people themselves relate how we entered first among you, and how you turned to Elohim from the worship of idols, to serve the living and true Elohim, 10to wait for His Son from heaven, even Yeshua, whom He raised from the dead, for it is He who will deliver us from the wrath to come.
