Kolosim 1 – איגרת שאול אל הקולוסים א

t.o.c.

1Pavlos, a Shali’akh of Yeshua HaMashi’akh by the will of Elohim, and Timoteus our brother, 2to those who are at Kolasos, HaK’doshim and faithful in Yeshua HaMashi’akh: Shalom Aleikhem, and compassion from Elohim Avinu, and Adoneinu Yeshua HaMashi’akh.

3Always we give thanks to Elohim, HaAv of Adoneinu Yeshua HaMashi’akh, and always we pray for you, 4since we heard of your absolute trust in Yeshua HaMashi’akh and of your love for all the K’doshim, 5for the hope which is preserved for you in heaven, of which you heard before in the true D’var HaB’sorah 6which has been declared to you, just as it has been declared throughout the world, growing and bringing forth fruits as it does also in you, since the day you heard of it and knew the compassion of Elohim in truth, 7just as you have learned it from Epaphras our beloved fellow servant, who is for your sakes a faithful Shamash of Mashi’akh, 8and who has made known to us your love, which is in the Ru’akh.

9For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you and to ask that you might be filled with the knowledge of the will of Elohim in all wisdom and in all spiritual understanding, 10that you might live a righteous life, please Elohim with all good works, and bring forth good fruits and grow in the knowledge of Elohim; 11and be strengthened with all might, according to the greatness of His Kavod, in all patience and longsuffering, 12so that you may joyfully give thanks to Elohim HaAv, who has enlightened us and made us worthy partakers of the inheritance of the K’doshim, 13and has delivered us from the power of darkness and brought us to the kingdom of His Ben HaAhuv, 14by whom we have obtained redemption and the forgiveness of sins.

15He is the image of the invisible Elohim, and the first-born of every creature: 16and through Him were created all things that are in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible; whether imperial thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers, all things were in His hand and were created by Him; 17and He is before all things, and by Him all things are sustained.  18And He is the head of the Body, the assembly; for He is the beginning, the firstborn of the resurrection from the dead, that in all things He might be the first; 19for it pleased Elohim that in Him all fullness should dwell; 20and by His hand to reconcile everything to Himself; and through His blood, shed on the stake, to make shalom both for those who dwell on earth and for those who dwell in heaven.  21Even to you, who in times past were alienated and hostile in your minds because of your evil works, shalom has now been given, 22through His body and His death, so that He may establish you before His Presence, consecrated, and without reproach, and blameless, 23if you continue in your absolute trust and your foundation is firm, and if you are not moved from the hope of HaB’sorah which you have heard and which has been declared to every creature under heaven, and for which I, Pavlos, have become a Shamash. 24And now, rejoice in my sufferings for you, and make up that which is lacking of the sufferings of Mashi’akh in my flesh for His Body’s sake, which is the assembly, 25for which I became a Shamash according to the stewardship of Elohim which has been given to me for you, fully to declare D’var HaElohim everywhere.  26Even the Sod which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now is revealed to His K’doshim; 27to whom Elohim wanted to make known the riches of His Splendor of this Sod among the Goyim; which is Mashi’akh in you, the hope of our glory.  28Him we declare and teach and make known to every man in all wisdom, that we may cause every man to become perfect through Yeshua HaMashi’akh; 29and to this end I labor and strive through the help of the power which is given to me.
