Efesim 6 – איגרת שאול אל האפסים ו

t.o.c.

1Children, obey your parents in Adoneinu, for this is right.  2This is the first mitzvah with promise: “Honor your father and your mother, 3that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth.”  4And fathers, do not provoke your children to anger; but bring them up in the exhortation of Adoneinu, and in His Torah.  5Servants, be obedient to your masters according to the flesh, with reverence and trembling, and with a sincere heart, as to Mashi’akh;  6not with eye-service,  as hypocrites, but as the servants of Mashi’akh,  doing  the will of Elohim from the heart.  7And serve well with your whole soul, with love, as to Adoneinu, and not to men, 8knowing that whatever good thing any man does, the same shall he receive from Adoneinu, whether he is a slave or a free man.  9Also, masters, do the same things for your servants, forgiving their faults, because you also have your own Adon in heaven; and there is no respect of persons with Him.

10From henceforth, my brethren, be strong in Adoneinu and in the power of His might.  11Put on the whole armor of Elohim, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the Accuser.  12For your war is not with flesh and blood, but with the authorities, and with powers, with the rulers of this world of darkness, and with the evil spirits under the heavens.  13Therefore put on the whole armor of Elohim, that you may be able to meet the evil one, and being prepared you shall stand firm.  14Arise, therefore, gird your loins with truth, and put on the breastplate of tzedaka; 15and have your feet shod with the preparation of HaB’sorah of Shalom; 16together with these, take for yourselves the shield of Emunah, for with it you shall be able to quench all the flaming darts of the evil one.  17Put on the helmet of Yeshua[h], and take the sword of HaRu’akh, which is the D’var HaElohim; 18and pray always, with all prayer and supplication, in HaRu’akh; and in that prayer be watchful at all times, praying constantly and supplicating for all the k’doshim; 19and for me also, that words may be given to me as soon as I open my mouth, so that I may boldly declare the Sod of HaB’sorah, 20for which I am a messenger in chains, that I may speak openly about it, as I ought to speak.

21In order that you also may know my affairs and what I do, Tychicus, a beloved brother and a faithful minister in Adoneinu, shall make known to you all things; 22him I have sent to you for the same purpose, that you may know how I am, and that he may comfort your hearts.  23Shalom Aleikhem, our brethren; with love and Emunah from Elohim HaAv, and from Adoneinu Yeshua HaMashi’akh.  24Compassion be with all them that love Adoneinu Yeshua HaMashi’akh in sincerity. Amein.
