1Be, therefore, imitators of Elohim, as beloved children. 2And walk in love, as Mashi’akh also has loved us and has given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to Elohim for a sweet savor. 3But let not immorality or any uncleanness or covetousness be heard of among you, as becomes k’doshim; 4neither cursing, nor foolish words, nor insults, nor words of flattery, none of which are necessary; but instead of these, let thanks be offered. 5You should know this, that no one who is in harlotry or is an unclean person or is abominable, for he thus serves idols, has any inheritance in the Malkhut HaMashi’akh and HaElohim. 6Let no man deceive you with vain words; for because of these things the anger of Elohim comes on the children of disobedience. 7Therefore do not be partakers with them. 8For previously you were ignorant, but now you are light in Adoneinu, and should live therefore like children of light. 9For the fruits of light are found in all goodness and tzedaka and truth; 10and so you must discern that which is acceptable before Adoneinu. 11Have no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather condemn them. 12For it is a shame even to speak of the things that are done by them in secret. 13For all things that are condemned are exposed by the light; and anything that is revealed is light. 14Therefore it is said, “Awake, O sleeper and rise from the dead, and Mashi’akh shall give you light.” 15Watch therefore, that you live a glorious life, not as foolish men but as wise, 16who take advantage of their opportunity; for these are difficult days. 17Therefore do not lack wisdom, but understand what the will of Elohim is. 18And do not become drunk with wine, wherein is intemperance; but be filled with HaRu’akh, 19speaking to your souls in Mizmorot, and Tehillot, and Zimrot of HaRu’akh; sing with your heart to יהוה , giving 20 thanks always for all men to Elohim HaAv, in the name of Adoneinu Yeshua HaMashi’akh.
21Submit yourselves one to another in the love of Mashi’akh. 22Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands as to Adoneinu. 23For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Mashi’akh is the head of the assembly, and He is the Moshi’ah of HaGuf. 24Therefore as the assembly is subject to Mashi’akh, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything. 25Husbands, love your wives, even as Mashi’akh loved His assembly and gave Himself up for her, 26that He might consecrate and cleanse her by the washing of water and by HaDavar, 27in order to build for Himself a glorious assembly, without stain or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that she should be consecrated, and without blemish. 28In this way should men love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. 29For no man ever yet hated his own body, but nourishes it and cherishes it, even as Mashi’akh does for the assembly. 30For we are members of His body, of His flesh, and of His bones. 31For this reason shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined to his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. 32This is a great Sod; but I speak concerning Mashi’akh and His assembly. 33Nevertheless, let every one of you so love his wife as himself, and the wife see that she reverences her husband.
