1“O יהוה , You are my Elohim, I will exalt You, I will praise Your Name, for You have done wonderful things; even counsels of old, in faithfulness and truth. 2For You have made of a city a heap, of a fortified city a ruin; a castle of strangers to be no city, it shall never be built. 3Therefore shall the strong people glorify You, the city of the terrible nations shall fear You. 4For You have been a stronghold to the poor, a stronghold to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat; for the blast of the terrible ones was as a storm against the wall. 5As the heat in a dry place, You did subdue the noise of strangers; as the heat by the shadow of a cloud, the song of the terrible ones was brought low.”
6“And in this mountain will יהוה Tzeva’ot make unto all peoples a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined. 7And He will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering that is cast over all peoples, and the veil that is spread over all nations. 8He will swallow up Mavet forever; and Adonai יהוה will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the reproach of His people will He take away from off all the earth; for יהוה has spoken it.”
9“And it shall be said in that day, ‘Lo, this is our Elohim, for whom we waited, that He might save us; this is יהוה , for whom we waited, we will be glad and rejoice in His Salvation.” 10For in this mountain will the hand of יהוה rest, and Mo’av shall be trodden down in his place, even as straw is trodden down in the dunghill. 11And when he shall spread forth his hands in the midst thereof, as he that swims spreads forth his hands to swim, his pride shall be brought down together with the cunning of his hands. 12And the high fortress of your walls will He bring down, lay low, and bring to the ground, even to the dust.”
א יהוה אֱלֹהַי אַתָּה אֲרוֹמִמְךָ אוֹדֶה שִׁמְךָ כִּי עָשִׂיתָ פֶּלֶא: עֵצוֹת מֵרָחֹק אֱמוּנָה אֹמֶן. בכִּי שַׂמְתָּ מֵעִיר לַגָּל קִרְיָה בְצוּרָה לְמַפֵּלָה; אַרְמוֹן זָרִים מֵעִיר לְעוֹלָם לֹא יִבָּנֶה. געַל כֵּן יְכַבְּדוּךָ עַם עָז; קִרְיַת גּוֹיִם עָרִיצִים יִירָאוּךָ. דכִּי הָיִיתָ מָעוֹז לַדָּל מָעוֹז לָאֶבְיוֹן בַּצַּר לוֹ: מַחְסֶה מִזֶּרֶם צֵל מֵחֹרֶב כִּי רוּחַ עָרִיצִים כְּזֶרֶם קִיר. הכְּחֹרֶב בְּצָיוֹן שְׁאוֹן זָרִים תַּכְנִיעַ; חֹרֶב בְּצֵל עָב זְמִיר עָרִיצִים יַעֲנֶה.
ווְעָשָׂה יהוה צְבָאוֹת לְכָל הָעַמִּים בָּהָר הַזֶּה מִשְׁתֵּה שְׁמָנִים מִשְׁתֵּה שְׁמָרִים: שְׁמָנִים מְמֻחָיִם שְׁמָרִים מְזֻקָּקִים. זוּבִלַּע בָּהָר הַזֶּה פְּנֵי הַלּוֹט הַלּוֹט עַל כָּל הָעַמִּים; וְהַמַּסֵּכָה הַנְּסוּכָה עַל כָּל הַגּוֹיִם. חבִּלַּע הַמָּוֶת לָנֶצַח וּמָחָה אֲדֹנָי יהוה דִּמְעָה מֵעַל כָּל פָּנִים; וְחֶרְפַּת עַמּוֹ יָסִיר מֵעַל כָּל הָאָרֶץ כִּי יהוה דִּבֵּר.
טוְאָמַר בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא הִנֵּה אֱלֹהֵינוּ זֶה קִוִּינוּ לוֹ וְיוֹשִׁיעֵנוּ; זֶה יהוה קִוִּינוּ לוֹ נָגִילָה וְנִשְׂמְחָה בִּישׁוּעָתוֹ. יכִּי תָנוּחַ יַד יהוה בָּהָר הַזֶּה וְנָדוֹשׁ מוֹאָב תַּחְתָּיו כְּהִדּוּשׁ מַתְבֵּן במי (בְּמוֹ) מַדְמֵנָה. יאוּפֵרַשׂ יָדָיו בְּקִרְבּוֹ כַּאֲשֶׁר יְפָרֵשׂ הַשֹּׂחֶה לִשְׂחוֹת; וְהִשְׁפִּיל גַּאֲוָתוֹ עִם אָרְבּוֹת יָדָיו. יבוּמִבְצַר מִשְׂגַּב חוֹמֹתֶיךָ הֵשַׁח הִשְׁפִּיל הִגִּיעַ לָאָרֶץ עַד עָפָר.
