1And he brought me back unto the door of HaBa’it; and, behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of HaBa’it eastward, for the forefront of HaBa’it looked toward the east; and the waters came down from under, from the right side of HaBa’it, on the south of the Mizbe’akh. 2Then he brought me out by the way of the gate northward, and led me round by the way without unto the outer gate, by the way of the gate that looks toward the east; and, behold, there trickled forth waters on the right side. 3When the man went forth eastward with the line in his hand, he measured a thousand cubits, and he caused me to pass through the waters, waters that were to the ankles. 4Again he measured a thousand, and caused me to pass through the waters, waters that were to the knees. Again he measured a thousand, and caused me to pass through waters that were to the loins. 5Afterward he measured a thousand; and it was a river that I could not pass through; for the waters were risen, waters to swim in, a river that could not be passed through. 6And he said unto me, “Have you seen this, O Ben Adam?’ Then he led me, and caused me to return to the bank of the river. 7Now when I had been brought back, behold, upon the bank of the river were very many trees on the one side and on the other. 8Then he said unto me, “These waters issue forth toward the eastern region, and shall go down into HaAravah; and when they shall enter into the sea, into the sea of the putrid waters, the waters shall be healed. 9And it shall come to pass, that every living creature wherewith it swarms, wherever the rivers shall come, shall live; and there shall be a very great multitude of fish; for these waters are come there, that all things are healed and may live wherever the river comes. 10And it shall come to pass, that fishermen shall stand by it from Ein Gedi even unto Ein Eglayim; there shall be a place for the spreading of nets; their fish shall be after their kinds, as the fish of HaYam HaGadol, exceedingly many. 11But the miry places thereof, and the marshes thereof, shall not be healed; they shall be given for salt. 12And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow every tree for food, whose leaf shall not wither, neither shall the fruit thereof fail; it shall bring forth new fruit every khodesh, because the waters thereof issue out of the Mikdash; and the fruit thereof shall be for food, and the leaf thereof for healing.”
13“Thus says Adonai יהוה , ‘This shall be the border, whereby you shall divide the land for inheritance according to the twelve tribes of Yisra’el: Yosef receiving two portions. 14And you shall inherit it, one as well as another, concerning which I lifted up My hand to give it unto your fathers; and this land shall fall unto you for inheritance. 15And this shall be the border of the land: on the north side, from HaYam HaGadol, by the way of Khetlon, unto the entrance of Tzedadah; 16Khamat, Berotah, Sivrayim, which is between the border of Damesek and the border of Khamat; Khatzer HaTikhon, which is by the border of Khavran. 17And the border from the sea shall be Khatzer Enon at the border of Damesek, and on the north northward is the border of Khamat. This is the north side. 18And the east side, between Khavran and Damesek and Gilad, and the land of Yisra’el, by the Yarden, from the border unto the east sea shall you measure. This is the east side. 19And the south side southward shall be from Tamar as far as the waters of Merivot Kadesh, to the Brook, unto HaYam HaGadol. This is the south side southward. 20And the west side shall be HaYam HaGadol, from the border as far as over against the entrance of Khamat. This is the west side. 21So shall you divide this land unto you according to the tribes of Yisra’el. 22And it shall come to pass, that you shall divide it by lot for an inheritance unto you and to the strangers that sojourn among you, who shall beget children among you; and they shall be unto you as the home-born among B’nei Yisra’el; they shall have inheritance with you among the tribes of Yisra’el. 23And it shall come to pass, that in what tribe the stranger sojourns, there shall you give him his inheritance, says Adonai יהוה .'”
אוַיְשִׁבֵנִי אֶל פֶּתַח הַבַּיִת וְהִנֵּה מַיִם יֹצְאִים מִתַּחַת מִפְתַּן הַבַּיִת קָדִימָה כִּי פְנֵי הַבַּיִת קָדִים; וְהַמַּיִם יֹרְדִים מִתַּחַת מִכֶּתֶף הַבַּיִת הַיְמָנִית מִנֶּגֶב לַמִּזְבֵּחַ. בוַיּוֹצִאֵנִי דֶּרֶךְ שַׁעַר צָפוֹנָה וַיְסִבֵּנִי דֶּרֶךְ חוּץ אֶל שַׁעַר הַחוּץ דֶּרֶךְ הַפּוֹנֶה קָדִים; וְהִנֵּה מַיִם מְפַכִּים מִן הַכָּתֵף הַיְמָנִית. גבְּצֵאת הָאִישׁ קָדִים וְקָו בְּיָדוֹ; וַיָּמָד אֶלֶף בָּאַמָּה וַיַּעֲבִרֵנִי בַמַּיִם מֵי אָפְסָיִם. דוַיָּמָד אֶלֶף וַיַּעֲבִרֵנִי בַמַּיִם מַיִם בִּרְכָּיִם; וַיָּמָד אֶלֶף וַיַּעֲבִרֵנִי מֵי מָתְנָיִם. הוַיָּמָד אֶלֶף נַחַל אֲשֶׁר לֹא אוּכַל לַעֲבֹר: כִּי גָאוּ הַמַּיִם מֵי שָׂחוּ נַחַל אֲשֶׁר לֹא יֵעָבֵר. ווַיֹּאמֶר אֵלַי הֲרָאִיתָ בֶן אָדָם; וַיּוֹלִכֵנִי וַיְשִׁבֵנִי שְׂפַת הַנָּחַל. זבְּשׁוּבֵנִי וְהִנֵּה אֶל שְׂפַת הַנַּחַל עֵץ רַב מְאֹד: מִזֶּה וּמִזֶּה. חוַיֹּאמֶר אֵלַי הַמַּיִם הָאֵלֶּה יוֹצְאִים אֶל הַגְּלִילָה הַקַּדְמוֹנָה וְיָרְדוּ עַל הָעֲרָבָה; וּבָאוּ הַיָּמָּה אֶל הַיָּמָּה הַמּוּצָאִים וְנִרְפּאוּ הַמָּיִם. טוְהָיָה כָל נֶפֶשׁ חַיָּה אֲשֶׁר יִשְׁרֹץ אֶל כָּל אֲשֶׁר יָבוֹא שָׁם נַחֲלַיִם יִחְיֶה וְהָיָה הַדָּגָה רַבָּה מְאֹד: כִּי בָאוּ שָׁמָּה הַמַּיִם הָאֵלֶּה וְיֵרָפְאוּ וָחָי כֹּל אֲשֶׁר יָבוֹא שָׁמָּה הַנָּחַל. יוְהָיָה יעמדו (עָמְדוּ) עָלָיו דַּוָּגִים מֵעֵין גֶּדִי וְעַד עֵין עֶגְלַיִם מִשְׁטוֹחַ לַחֲרָמִים יִהְיוּ; לְמִינָה תִּהְיֶה דְגָתָם כִּדְגַת הַיָּם הַגָּדוֹל רַבָּה מְאֹד. יאבִּצֹּאתָו וּגְבָאָיו וְלֹא יֵרָפְאוּ לְמֶלַח נִתָּנוּ. יבוְעַל הַנַּחַל יַעֲלֶה עַל שְׂפָתוֹ מִזֶּה וּמִזֶּה כָּל עֵץ מַאֲכָל לֹא יִבּוֹל עָלֵהוּ וְלֹא יִתֹּם פִּרְיוֹ לָחֳדָשָׁיו יְבַכֵּר כִּי מֵימָיו מִן הַמִּקְדָּשׁ הֵמָּה יוֹצְאִים; והיו (וְהָיָה) פִרְיוֹ לְמַאֲכָל וְעָלֵהוּ לִתְרוּפָה.
יגכֹּה אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יהוה גֵּה גְבוּל אֲשֶׁר תִּתְנַחֲלוּ אֶת הָאָרֶץ לִשְׁנֵי עָשָׂר שִׁבְטֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל יוֹסֵף חֲבָלִים. ידוּנְחַלְתֶּם אוֹתָהּ אִישׁ כְּאָחִיו אֲשֶׁר נָשָׂאתִי אֶת יָדִי לְתִתָּהּ לַאֲבֹתֵיכֶם; וְנָפְלָה הָאָרֶץ הַזֹּאת לָכֶם בְּנַחֲלָה. טווְזֶה גְּבוּל הָאָרֶץ: לִפְאַת צָפוֹנָה מִן הַיָּם הַגָּדוֹל הַדֶּרֶךְ חֶתְלֹן לְבוֹא צְדָדָה. טזחֲמָת בֵּרוֹתָה סִבְרַיִם אֲשֶׁר בֵּין גְּבוּל דַּמֶּשֶׂק וּבֵין גְּבוּל חֲמָת; חָצֵר הַתִּיכוֹן אֲשֶׁר אֶל גְּבוּל חַוְרָן. יזוְהָיָה גְבוּל מִן הַיָּם חֲצַר עֵינוֹן גְּבוּל דַּמֶּשֶׂק וְצָפוֹן צָפוֹנָה וּגְבוּל חֲמָת; וְאֵת פְּאַת צָפוֹן. יחוּפְאַת קָדִים מִבֵּין חַוְרָן וּמִבֵּין דַּמֶּשֶׂק וּמִבֵּין הַגִּלְעָד וּמִבֵּין אֶרֶץ יִשְׂרָאֵל הַיַּרְדֵּן מִגְּבוּל עַל הַיָּם הַקַּדְמוֹנִי תָּמֹדּוּ; וְאֵת פְּאַת קָדִימָה. יטוּפְאַת נֶגֶב תֵּימָנָה מִתָּמָר עַד מֵי מְרִיבוֹת קָדֵשׁ נַחֲלָה אֶל הַיָּם הַגָּדוֹל; וְאֵת פְּאַת תֵּימָנָה נֶגְבָּה. כוּפְאַת יָם הַיָּם הַגָּדוֹל מִגְּבוּל עַד נֹכַח לְבוֹא חֲמָת; זֹאת פְּאַת יָם. כאוְחִלַּקְתֶּם אֶת הָאָרֶץ הַזֹּאת לָכֶם לְשִׁבְטֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל. כבוְהָיָה תַּפִּלוּ אוֹתָהּ בְּנַחֲלָה לָכֶם וּלְהַגֵּרִים הַגָּרִים בְּתוֹכְכֶם אֲשֶׁר הוֹלִדוּ בָנִים בְּתוֹכְכֶם; וְהָיוּ לָכֶם כְּאֶזְרָח בִּבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אִתְּכֶם יִפְּלוּ בְנַחֲלָה בְּתוֹךְ שִׁבְטֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל. כגוְהָיָה בַשֵּׁבֶט אֲשֶׁר גָּר הַגֵּר אִתּוֹ שָׁם תִּתְּנוּ נַחֲלָתוֹ נְאֻם אֲדֹנָי יהוה .
