1“And you, Ben Adam, prophesy against Gog, and say, ‘Thus says Adonai יהוה , ‘Behold, I am against you, O Gog, chief prince of Meshekh and Tuval; 2and I will turn you about and lead you on, and will cause you to come up from the uttermost parts of the north; and I will bring you upon the mountains of Yisra’el; 3and I will smite your bow out of your left hand, and will cause your arrows to fall out of your right hand. 4You shall fall upon the mountains of Yisra’el, you, and all your bands, and the peoples that are with you; I will give you unto the ravenous birds of every sort and to the beasts of the field, to be devoured. 5You shall fall upon the open field; for I have spoken it, says Adonai יהוה . And6 I will send a fire on Magog, and on them that dwell safely in the isles; and they shall know that I am יהוה . And7 My kadosh Name will I make known in the midst of My people Yisra’el; neither will I suffer My kadosh Name to be profaned any more; and the nations shall know that I am יהוה , Kadosh In Yisra’el. 8Behold, it comes, and it shall be done, says Adonai יהוה . This is HaYom whereof I have spoken. 9And they that dwell in the cities of Yisra’el shall go forth, and shall make fires of the weapons and use them as fuel, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the hand-staves, and the spears, and they shall make fires of them seven years; 10so that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down any out of the forests, for they shall make fires of the weapons; and they shall spoil those that spoiled them, and rob those that robbed them, says Adonai יהוה . And11 it shall come to pass in That Day, that I will give unto Gog a place fit for burial in Yisra’el, the valley of them that pass through on the east of the sea; and it shall stop them that pass through; and there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude; and they shall call it ‘Gei Hamon Gog’. 12And seven months shall Beit Yisra’el be burying them, that they may cleanse the land. 13Yes, all the people of the land shall bury them, and it shall be to them a renown; in the day that I shall be glorified, says Adonai יהוה . And14 they shall separate men of continual employment, that shall pass through the land to bury with them that pass through those that remain upon the face of the land, to cleanse it; after the end of seven months shall they search. 15And when they that pass through shall pass through the land, and any sees a man’s bone, then shall he set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in Gei Hamon Gog. 16And Hamonah shall also be the name of a city. Thus shall they cleanse the land.'”
17“And you, Ben Adam, thus says Adonai יהוה , ‘Speak unto the birds of every sort, and to every beast of the field, ‘Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to My feast that I do prepare for you, even a great feast, upon the mountains of Yisra’el, that you may eat flesh and drink blood. 18The flesh of the mighty shall you eat, and the blood of the princes of the earth shall you drink; rams, lambs, and goats, bullocks, fatlings of Bashan are they all of them. 19And you shall eat fat until you are full, and drink blood until you are drunk, of My feast which I have prepared for you. 20And you shall be filled at My table with horses and horsemen, with mighty men, and with all men of war, says Adonai יהוה .’ And21 I will set My glory among the nations, and all the nations shall see My judgment that I have executed, and My hand that I have laid upon them. 22So Beit Yisra’el shall know that I am יהוה their Elohim, from that day and forward. 23And the nations shall know that Beit Yisra’el went into captivity for their iniquity, because they broke faith with Me, and I hid My face from them; so I gave them into the hand of their adversaries, and they fell, all of them, by the sword. 24According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions did I do unto them; and I hid My face from them. 25Therefore thus says Adonai יהוה , ‘Now will I bring back the captivity of Ya’akov, and have compassion upon the whole Beit Yisra’el; and I will be jealous for My kadosh Name. 26And they shall bear their shame, and all their breach of faith which they have committed against Me, when they shall dwell safely in their land, and none shall make them afraid; 27when I have brought them back from the peoples, and gathered them out of their enemies’ lands, and am consecrated in them in the sight of many nations. 28And they shall know that I am יהוה their Elohim, in that I caused them to go into captivity among the nations, and have gathered them unto their own land; and I will leave none of them any more there; 29neither will I hide My face any more from them; for I have poured out My Ru’akh upon Beit Yisra’el, says Adonai יהוה .””
אוְאַתָּה בֶן אָדָם הִנָּבֵא עַל גּוֹג וְאָמַרְתָּ כֹּה אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יהוה : הִנְנִי אֵלֶיךָ גּוֹג נְשִׂיא רֹאשׁ מֶשֶׁךְ וְתֻבָל. בוְשֹׁבַבְתִּיךָ וְשִׁשֵּׁאתִיךָ וְהַעֲלִיתִיךָ מִיַּרְכְּתֵי צָפוֹן; וַהֲבִאוֹתִךָ עַל הָרֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל. גוְהִכֵּיתִי קַשְׁתְּךָ מִיַּד שְׂמֹאולֶךָ; וְחִצֶּיךָ מִיַּד יְמִינְךָ אַפִּיל. דעַל הָרֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל תִּפּוֹל אַתָּה וְכָל אֲגַפֶּיךָ וְעַמִּים אֲשֶׁר אִתָּךְ: לְעֵיט צִפּוֹר כָּל כָּנָף וְחַיַּת הַשָּׂדֶה נְתַתִּיךָ לְאָכְלָה. העַל פְּנֵי הַשָּׂדֶה תִּפּוֹל: כִּי אֲנִי דִבַּרְתִּי נְאֻם אֲדֹנָי יהוה . ווְשִׁלַּחְתִּי אֵשׁ בְּמָגוֹג וּבְיֹשְׁבֵי הָאִיִּים לָבֶטַח; וְיָדְעוּ כִּי אֲנִי יהוה . זוְאֶת שֵׁם קָדְשִׁי אוֹדִיעַ בְּתוֹךְ עַמִּי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְלֹא אַחֵל אֶת שֵׁם קָדְשִׁי עוֹד; וְיָדְעוּ הַגּוֹיִם כִּי אֲנִי יהוה קָדוֹשׁ בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל. חהִנֵּה בָאָה וְנִהְיָתָה נְאֻם אֲדֹנָי יהוה : הוּא הַיּוֹם אֲשֶׁר דִּבַּרְתִּי. טוְיָצְאוּ יֹשְׁבֵי עָרֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וּבִעֲרוּ וְהִשִּׂיקוּ בְּנֶשֶׁק וּמָגֵן וְצִנָּה בְּקֶשֶׁת וּבְחִצִּים וּבְמַקֵּל יָד וּבְרֹמַח; וּבִעֲרוּ בָהֶם אֵשׁ שֶׁבַע שָׁנִים. יוְלֹא יִשְׂאוּ עֵצִים מִן הַשָּׂדֶה וְלֹא יַחְטְבוּ מִן הַיְּעָרִים כִּי בַנֶּשֶׁק יְבַעֲרוּ אֵשׁ; וְשָׁלְלוּ אֶת שֹׁלְלֵיהֶם וּבָזְזוּ אֶת בֹּזְזֵיהֶם נְאֻם אֲדֹנָי יהוה . יאוְהָיָה בַיּוֹם הַהוּא אֶתֵּן לְגוֹג מְקוֹם שָׁם קֶבֶר בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל גֵּי הָעֹבְרִים קִדְמַת הַיָּם וְחֹסֶמֶת הִיא אֶת הָעֹבְרִים; וְקָבְרוּ שָׁם אֶת גּוֹג וְאֶת כָּל הֲמוֹנֹה וְקָרְאוּ גֵּיא הֲמוֹן גּוֹג. יבוּקְבָרוּם בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל לְמַעַן טַהֵר אֶת הָאָרֶץ שִׁבְעָה חֳדָשִׁים. יגוְקָבְרוּ כָּל עַם הָאָרֶץ וְהָיָה לָהֶם לְשֵׁם יוֹם הִכָּבְדִי נְאֻם אֲדֹנָי יהוה . ידוְאַנְשֵׁי תָמִיד יַבְדִּילוּ עֹבְרִים בָּאָרֶץ מְקַבְּרִים אֶת הָעֹבְרִים אֶת הַנּוֹתָרִים עַל פְּנֵי הָאָרֶץ לְטַהֲרָהּ מִקְצֵה שִׁבְעָה חֳדָשִׁים יַחְקֹרוּ. טווְעָבְרוּ הָעֹבְרִים בָּאָרֶץ וְרָאָה עֶצֶם אָדָם וּבָנָה אֶצְלוֹ צִיּוּן עַד קָבְרוּ אֹתוֹ הַמְקַבְּרִים אֶל גֵּיא הֲמוֹן גּוֹג. טזוְגַם שֶׁם עִיר הֲמוֹנָה וְטִהֲרוּ הָאָרֶץ.
יזוְאַתָּה בֶן אָדָם כֹּה אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יהוה אֱמֹר לְצִפּוֹר כָּל כָּנָף וּלְכֹל חַיַּת הַשָּׂדֶה הִקָּבְצוּ וָבֹאוּ הֵאָסְפוּ מִסָּבִיב עַל זִבְחִי אֲשֶׁר אֲנִי זֹבֵחַ לָכֶם זֶבַח גָּדוֹל עַל הָרֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל; וַאֲכַלְתֶּם בָּשָׂר וּשְׁתִיתֶם דָּם. יחבְּשַׂר גִּבּוֹרִים תֹּאכֵלוּ וְדַם נְשִׂיאֵי הָאָרֶץ תִּשְׁתּוּ; אֵילִים כָּרִים וְעַתּוּדִים פָּרִים מְרִיאֵי בָשָׁן כֻּלָּם. יטוַאֲכַלְתֶּם חֵלֶב לְשָׂבְעָה וּשְׁתִיתֶם דָּם לְשִׁכָּרוֹן מִזִּבְחִי אֲשֶׁר זָבַחְתִּי לָכֶם. כוּשְׂבַעְתֶּם עַל שֻׁלְחָנִי סוּס וָרֶכֶב גִּבּוֹר וְכָל אִישׁ מִלְחָמָה נְאֻם אֲדֹנָי יהוה . כאוְנָתַתִּי אֶת כְּבוֹדִי בַּגּוֹיִם; וְרָאוּ כָל הַגּוֹיִם אֶת מִשְׁפָּטִי אֲשֶׁר עָשִׂיתִי וְאֶת יָדִי אֲשֶׁר שַׂמְתִּי בָהֶם. כבוְיָדְעוּ בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל כִּי אֲנִי יהוה אֱלֹהֵיהֶם מִן הַיּוֹם הַהוּא וָהָלְאָה. כגוְיָדְעוּ הַגּוֹיִם כִּי בַעֲוֹנָם גָּלוּ בֵית יִשְׂרָאֵל עַל אֲשֶׁר מָעֲלוּ בִי וָאַסְתִּר פָּנַי מֵהֶם; וָאֶתְּנֵם בְּיַד צָרֵיהֶם וַיִּפְּלוּ בַחֶרֶב כֻּלָּם. כדכְּטֻמְאָתָם וּכְפִשְׁעֵיהֶם עָשִׂיתִי אֹתָם; וָאַסְתִּר פָּנַי מֵהֶם. כהלָכֵן כֹּה אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יהוה עַתָּה אָשִׁיב אֶת שבית (שְׁבוּת) יַעֲקֹב וְרִחַמְתִּי כָּל בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל; וְקִנֵּאתִי לְשֵׁם קָדְשִׁי. כווְנָשׂוּ אֶת כְּלִמָּתָם וְאֶת כָּל מַעֲלָם אֲשֶׁר מָעֲלוּ בִי בְּשִׁבְתָּם עַל אַדְמָתָם לָבֶטַח וְאֵין מַחֲרִיד. כזבְּשׁוֹבְבִי אוֹתָם מִן הָעַמִּים וְקִבַּצְתִּי אֹתָם מֵאַרְצוֹת אֹיְבֵיהֶם; וְנִקְדַּשְׁתִּי בָם לְעֵינֵי הַגּוֹיִם רַבִּים. כחוְיָדְעוּ כִּי אֲנִי יהוה אֱלֹהֵיהֶם בְּהַגְלוֹתִי אֹתָם אֶל הַגּוֹיִם וְכִנַּסְתִּים עַל אַדְמָתָם; וְלֹא אוֹתִיר עוֹד מֵהֶם שָׁם. כטוְלֹא אַסְתִּיר עוֹד פָּנַי מֵהֶם אֲשֶׁר שָׁפַכְתִּי אֶת רוּחִי עַל בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל נְאֻם אֲדֹנָי יהוה .
