1I saw Adonai standing beside the Mizbe’akh; and He said, “Smite the capitals, that the posts may shake; and break them in pieces on the head of all of them; and I will slay the remainder of them with the sword; there shall not one of them flee away, and there shall not one of them escape. 2Though they dig into She’ol, from there shall My hand take them; and though they climb up to heaven, from there will I bring them down. 3And though they hide themselves in the top of Karmel, I will search and take them out from there; and though they are hidden from My sight in the bottom of the sea, from there will I command the Nakhash, and he shall bite them. 4And though they go into captivity before their enemies, from there will I command the sword, and it shall slay them; and I will set My eyes upon them for evil, and not for good. 5For Adonai יהוה Tzeva’ot is He that touches the land and it melts, and all that dwell therein mourn; and it rises up wholly like the River, and sinks again, like the River of Mitzrayim; 6It is He that builds His upper chambers in heaven, and has founded His vault upon the earth; He that calls for the waters of the sea, and pours them out upon the face of the earth; יהוה is His Name. K’doshim (2) 7Are you not as the children of the Kushi’im unto Me, O B’nei Yisra’el, says יהוה . Have not I brought up Yisra’el out of the land of Mitzrayim, and the P’lishtim from Kaftor, and Aram from Kir? 8Behold, the eyes of Adonai יהוה are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy Beit Ya’akov, says יהוה . For9, lo, I will command, and I will sift Beit Yisra’el among all the nations, like as grain is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth. 10All the sinners of My people shall die by the sword, that say, ‘The evil shall not overtake nor confront us.’ 11In that day will I raise up the Sukka of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof, and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old; 12that they may possess the remnant of Edom, and all the Goyim, upon whom My Name is called, says יהוה that does this.”
13“Behold, the days come, says יהוה , that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that sows seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt. 14And I will turn the captivity of My people Yisra’el, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them. 15And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be plucked up out of their land which I have given them, says יהוה your Elohim.” end K’doshim (2)
ארָאִיתִי אֶת אֲדֹנָי נִצָּב עַל הַמִּזְבֵּחַ וַיֹּאמֶר הַךְ הַכַּפְתּוֹר וְיִרְעֲשׁוּ הַסִּפִּים וּבְצַעַם בְּרֹאשׁ כֻּלָּם וְאַחֲרִיתָם בַּחֶרֶב אֶהֱרֹג: לֹא יָנוּס לָהֶם נָס וְלֹא יִמָּלֵט לָהֶם פָּלִיט. באִם יַחְתְּרוּ בִשְׁאוֹל מִשָּׁם יָדִי תִקָּחֵם; וְאִם יַעֲלוּ הַשָּׁמַיִם מִשָּׁם אוֹרִידֵם. גוְאִם יֵחָבְאוּ בְּרֹאשׁ הַכַּרְמֶל מִשָּׁם אֲחַפֵּשׂ וּלְקַחְתִּים; וְאִם יִסָּתְרוּ מִנֶּגֶד עֵינַי בְּקַרְקַע הַיָּם מִשָּׁם אֲצַוֶּה אֶת הַנָּחָשׁ וּנְשָׁכָם. דוְאִם יֵלְכוּ בַשְּׁבִי לִפְנֵי אֹיְבֵיהֶם מִשָּׁם אֲצַוֶּה אֶת הַחֶרֶב וַהֲרָגָתַם; וְשַׂמְתִּי עֵינִי עֲלֵיהֶם לְרָעָה וְלֹא לְטוֹבָה. הוַאדֹנָי יהוה הַצְּבָאוֹת הַנּוֹגֵעַ בָּאָרֶץ וַתָּמוֹג וְאָבְלוּ כָּל יוֹשְׁבֵי בָהּ; וְעָלְתָה כַיְאֹר כֻּלָּהּ וְשָׁקְעָה כִּיאֹר מִצְרָיִם. והַבּוֹנֶה בַשָּׁמַיִם מַעֲלוֹתָו וַאֲגֻדָּתוֹ עַל אֶרֶץ יְסָדָהּ; הַקֹּרֵא לְמֵי הַיָּם וַיִּשְׁפְּכֵם עַל פְּנֵי הָאָרֶץ יהוה שְׁמוֹ. זהֲלוֹא כִבְנֵי כֻשִׁיִּים אַתֶּם לִי בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל נְאֻם יהוה : הֲלוֹא אֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל הֶעֱלֵיתִי מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם וּפְלִשְׁתִּיִּים מִכַּפְתּוֹר וַאֲרָם מִקִּיר. חהִנֵּה עֵינֵי אֲדֹנָי יהוה בַּמַּמְלָכָה הַחַטָּאָה וְהִשְׁמַדְתִּי אֹתָהּ מֵעַל פְּנֵי הָאֲדָמָה: אֶפֶס כִּי לֹא הַשְׁמֵיד אַשְׁמִיד אֶת בֵּית יַעֲקֹב נְאֻם יהוה . טכִּי הִנֵּה אָנֹכִי מְצַוֶּה וַהֲנִעוֹתִי בְכָל הַגּוֹיִם אֶת בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל כַּאֲשֶׁר יִנּוֹעַ בַּכְּבָרָה וְלֹא יִפּוֹל צְרוֹר אָרֶץ. יבַּחֶרֶב יָמוּתוּ כֹּל חַטָּאֵי עַמִּי: הָאֹמְרִים לֹא תַגִּישׁ וְתַקְדִּים בַּעֲדֵינוּ הָרָעָה. יאבַּיּוֹם הַהוּא אָקִים אֶת סֻכַּת דָּוִיד הַנֹּפֶלֶת; וְגָדַרְתִּי אֶת פִּרְצֵיהֶן וַהֲרִסֹתָיו אָקִים וּבְנִיתִיהָ כִּימֵי עוֹלָם. יבלְמַעַן יִירְשׁוּ אֶת שְׁאֵרִית אֱדוֹם וְכָל הַגּוֹיִם אֲשֶׁר נִקְרָא שְׁמִי עֲלֵיהֶם: נְאֻם יהוה עֹשֶׂה זֹּאת.
יגהִנֵּה יָמִים בָּאִים נְאֻם יהוה וְנִגַּשׁ חוֹרֵשׁ בַּקֹּצֵר וְדֹרֵךְ עֲנָבִים בְּמֹשֵׁךְ הַזָּרַע; וְהִטִּיפוּ הֶהָרִים עָסִיס וְכָל הַגְּבָעוֹת תִּתְמוֹגַגְנָה. ידוְשַׁבְתִּי אֶת שְׁבוּת עַמִּי יִשְׂרָאֵל וּבָנוּ עָרִים נְשַׁמּוֹת וְיָשָׁבוּ וְנָטְעוּ כְרָמִים וְשָׁתוּ אֶת יֵינָם; וְעָשׂוּ גַנּוֹת וְאָכְלוּ אֶת פְּרִיהֶם. טווּנְטַעְתִּים עַל אַדְמָתָם; וְלֹא יִנָּתְשׁוּ עוֹד מֵעַל אַדְמָתָם אֲשֶׁר נָתַתִּי לָהֶם אָמַר יהוה אֱלֹהֶיךָ.
