Iyov 11 – איוב יא

Then answered Tzofar HaNa’amati, and said,

“Should not the multitude of words be answered? And should a man full of talk be accounted right?

Your boastings have made men hold their peace, and you have mocked, with none to make you ashamed;

And you have said, ‘My doctrine is pure, and I am clean in Your eyes.’

But oh that Eloha would speak, and open His lips against you;

And that He would tell you the secrets of wisdom, that sound wisdom is manifold! Know therefore that Eloha exacts of you less than your iniquity deserves.

Can you find out the deep things of Eloha? Can you attain unto the purpose of Shadai?

It is high as heaven; what can you do? Deeper than She’ol; what can you know?

The measure thereof is longer than the earth, and broader than the sea.

If He passes by, and shuts up, or gathers in, then who can hinder Him?

For He knows base men; and when He sees iniquity, will He not then consider it?

But an empty man will get understanding, when a wild donkey’s colt is born a man.

If you set your heart aright, and stretch out your hands toward Him;

If iniquity is in your hand, put it far away, and let not unrighteousness dwell in your tents;

Surely then shall you lift up your face without spot; yes, you shall be stedfast, and shall not fear;

For you shall forget your misery; you shall remember it as waters that are passed away;

And your life shall be clearer than the noonday; though there is darkness, it shall be as the morning.

And you shall be secure, because there is hope; yes, you shall look about you, and shall take your rest in safety.

Also you shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid; yes, many shall make suit unto you.

But the eyes of the wicked shall fail, and they shall have no way to flee, and their hope shall be the drooping of the soul.”
