Parashat Sh’mini
1And it came to pass on the eighth day, that Moshe called Aharon and his sons, and the elders of Yisra’el; 2and he said unto Aharon, “Take a bull-calf for a Khatat, and a ram for an Olah, without blemish, and offer them before יהוה . And3 unto B’nei Yisra’el you shall speak, saying, “Take a he-goat for a Khatat; and a calf and a lamb, both of the first year, without blemish, for an Olah; 4and an ox and a ram for Shalom offerings, to sacrifice before יהוה ; and a Minkhah mingled with oil; for today יהוה appears unto you.” 5And they brought that which Moshe commanded before the Ohel Mo’ed; and all the assembly drew near and stood before יהוה . And6 Moshe said, “This is the thing which יהוה commanded that you should do; that the Kavod יהוה may appear unto you.” 7And Moshe said unto Aharon, “Draw near unto HaMizbe’akh, and offer your Khatat, and your Olah, and make atonement for yourself, and for the people; and present the offering of the people, and make atonement for them, as יהוה commanded.” 8So Aharon drew near unto HaMizbe’akh, and slew the calf of the Khatat, which was for himself. 9And the sons of Aharon presented the blood unto him; and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put it upon the horns of HaMizbe’akh, and poured out the blood at the base of HaMizbe’akh. 10But the fat, and the kidneys, and the lobe of the liver of the Khatat he made smoke upon HaMizbe’akh, as יהוה commanded Moshe. 11And the flesh and the skin were burnt with fire without the camp. 12And he slew the Olah; and Aharon’s sons delivered unto him the blood, and he dashed it against HaMizbe’akh round about. 13And they delivered the Olah unto him, piece by piece, and the head, and he made them smoke upon HaMizbe’akh. 14And he washed the inwards and the legs, and made them smoke upon the Olah on HaMizbe’akh. 15And the people’s offering was presented; and he took the goat of the Khatat which was for the people, and slew it, and offered it for sin, as the first. 16And the Olah was presented; and he offered it according to the ordinance. 17And HaMinkhah was presented; and he filled his hand therefrom and made it smoke upon HaMizbe’akh, besides the Olah of the morning. 18He slew also the ox and the ram, the Z’vakh Sh’lamim offerings, which was for the people; and Aharon’s sons delivered unto him the blood, and he dashed it against HaMizbe’akh round about, 19and the fat of the ox, and of the ram, the fat tail, and that which covers the inwards, and the kidneys, and the lobe of the liver. 20And they put the fat upon the breasts, and he made the fat smoke upon HaMizbe’akh. 21And the breasts and the right thigh Aharon waved for a Tenufah before יהוה as Moshe commanded. 22And Aharon lifted up his hands toward the people, and blessed them; and he came down from offering the Khatat, and the Olah, and the Sh’lamim offerings. 23And Moshe and Aharon went into the Ohel Mo’ed, and came out, and blessed the people; and the Kavod יהוה appeared unto all the people. 24And there came forth fire from before יהוה , and consumed upon the Mizbe’akh HaOlah and the fat; and when all the people saw it, they shouted, and fell on their faces.
פרשת שְּׁמִינִי
אוַיְהִי בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁמִינִי קָרָא מֹשֶׁה לְאַהֲרֹן וּלְבָנָיו וּלְזִקְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל. בוַיֹּאמֶר אֶל אַהֲרֹן קַח לְךָ עֵגֶל בֶּן בָּקָר לְחַטָּאת וְאַיִל לְעֹלָה תְּמִימִם וְהַקְרֵב לִפְנֵי יהוה . גוְאֶל בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל תְּדַבֵּר לֵאמֹר קְחוּ שְׂעִיר עִזִּים לְחַטָּאת וְעֵגֶל וָכֶבֶשׂ בְּנֵי שָׁנָה תְּמִימִם לְעֹלָה. דוְשׁוֹר וָאַיִל לִשְׁלָמִים לִזְבֹּחַ לִפְנֵי יהוה וּמִנְחָה בְּלוּלָה בַשָּׁמֶן כִּי הַיּוֹם יהוה נִרְאָה אֲלֵיכֶם. הוַיִּקְחוּ אֵת אֲשֶׁר צִוָּה מֹשֶׁה אֶל פְּנֵי אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וַיִּקְרְבוּ כָּל הָעֵדָה וַיַּעַמְדוּ לִפְנֵי יהוה . ווַיֹּאמֶר מֹשֶׁה זֶה הַדָּבָר אֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יהוה תַּעֲשׂוּ וְיֵרָא אֲלֵיכֶם כְּבוֹד יהוה . זוַיֹּאמֶר מֹשֶׁה אֶל אַהֲרֹן קְרַב אֶל הַמִּזְבֵּחַ וַעֲשֵׂה אֶת חַטָּאתְךָ וְאֶת עֹלָתֶךָ וְכַפֵּר בַּעַדְךָ וּבְעַד הָעָם וַעֲשֵׂה אֶת קָרְבַּן הָעָם וְכַפֵּר בַּעֲדָם כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יהוה . חוַיִּקְרַב אַהֲרֹן אֶל הַמִּזְבֵּחַ וַיִּשְׁחַט אֶת עֵגֶל הַחַטָּאת אֲשֶׁר לוֹ. טוַיַּקְרִבוּ בְּנֵי אַהֲרֹן אֶת הַדָּם אֵלָיו וַיִּטְבֹּל אֶצְבָּעוֹ בַּדָּם וַיִּתֵּן עַל קַרְנוֹת הַמִּזְבֵּחַ וְאֶת הַדָּם יָצַק אֶל יְסוֹד הַמִּזְבֵּחַ. יוְאֶת הַחֵלֶב וְאֶת הַכְּלָיֹת וְאֶת הַיֹּתֶרֶת מִן הַכָּבֵד מִן הַחַטָּאת הִקְטִיר הַמִּזְבֵּחָה כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יהוה אֶת מֹשֶׁה. יאוְאֶת הַבָּשָׂר וְאֶת הָעוֹר שָׂרַף בָּאֵשׁ מִחוּץ לַמַּחֲנֶה. יבוַיִּשְׁחַט אֶת הָעֹלָה וַיַּמְצִאוּ בְּנֵי אַהֲרֹן אֵלָיו אֶת הַדָּם וַיִּזְרְקֵהוּ עַל הַמִּזְבֵּחַ סָבִיב. יגוְאֶת הָעֹלָה הִמְצִיאוּ אֵלָיו לִנְתָחֶיהָ וְאֶת הָרֹאשׁ וַיַּקְטֵר עַל הַמִּזְבֵּחַ. ידוַיִּרְחַץ אֶת הַקֶּרֶב וְאֶת הַכְּרָעָיִם וַיַּקְטֵר עַל הָעֹלָה הַמִּזְבֵּחָה. טווַיַּקְרֵב אֵת קָרְבַּן הָעָם וַיִּקַּח אֶת שְׂעִיר הַחַטָּאת אֲשֶׁר לָעָם וַיִּשְׁחָטֵהוּ וַיְחַטְּאֵהוּ כָּרִאשׁוֹן. טזוַיַּקְרֵב אֶת הָעֹלָה וַיַּעֲשֶׂהָ כַּמִּשְׁפָּט. יזוַיַּקְרֵב אֶת הַמִּנְחָה וַיְמַלֵּא כַפּוֹ מִמֶּנָּה וַיַּקְטֵר עַל הַמִּזְבֵּחַ מִלְּבַד עֹלַת הַבֹּקֶר. יחוַיִּשְׁחַט אֶת הַשּׁוֹר וְאֶת הָאַיִל זֶבַח הַשְּׁלָמִים אֲשֶׁר לָעָם וַיַּמְצִאוּ בְּנֵי אַהֲרֹן אֶת הַדָּם אֵלָיו וַיִּזְרְקֵהוּ עַל הַמִּזְבֵּחַ סָבִיב. יטוְאֶת הַחֲלָבִים מִן הַשּׁוֹר וּמִן הָאַיִל הָאַלְיָה וְהַמְכַסֶּה וְהַכְּלָיֹת וְיֹתֶרֶת הַכָּבֵד. כוַיָּשִׂימוּ אֶת הַחֲלָבִים עַל הֶחָזוֹת וַיַּקְטֵר הַחֲלָבִים הַמִּזְבֵּחָה. כאוְאֵת הֶחָזוֹת וְאֵת שׁוֹק הַיָּמִין הֵנִיף אַהֲרֹן תְּנוּפָה לִפְנֵי יהוה כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה מֹשֶׁה. כבוַיִּשָּׂא אַהֲרֹן אֶת יָדָו אֶל הָעָם וַיְבָרְכֵם וַיֵּרֶד מֵעֲשֹׂת הַחַטָּאת וְהָעֹלָה וְהַשְּׁלָמִים. כגוַיָּבֹא מֹשֶׁה וְאַהֲרֹן אֶל אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וַיֵּצְאוּ וַיְבָרְכוּ אֶת הָעָם וַיֵּרָא כְבוֹד יהוה אֶל כָּל הָעָם. כדוַתֵּצֵא אֵשׁ מִלִּפְנֵי יהוה וַתֹּאכַל עַל הַמִּזְבֵּחַ אֶת הָעֹלָה וְאֶת הַחֲלָבִים וַיַּרְא כָּל הָעָם וַיָּרֹנּוּ וַיִּפְּלוּ עַל פְּנֵיהֶם.
