Parashat K’doshim
1And יהוה spoke unto Moshe, saying, 2“Speak unto all the assembly of B’nei Yisra’el, and say unto them, ‘You shall be k’doshim; for I, יהוה your Elohim, am kadosh. 3You shall fear every man his mother, and his father, and you shall keep My sabbaths: I am יהוה your Elohim. 4Turn not unto the idols, nor make for yourselves molten gods: I am יהוה your Elohim. 5And when you offer a sacrifice of Sh’lamim unto יהוה , you shall offer it that you may be accepted. 6It shall be eaten the same day you offer it, and on the morrow; and if any of it remains until the third day, it shall be burnt with fire. 7And if it is eaten at all on the third day, it is a vile thing; it shall not be accepted. 8But every one that eats it shall bear his iniquity, because he has profaned the consecrated thing of יהוה ; and that soul shall be cut off from his people’.”
9“‘And when you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not wholly reap the corner of your field, neither shall you gather the gleaning of your harvest. 10And you shall not glean your vineyard, neither shall you gather the fallen fruit of your vineyard; you shall leave them for the poor and for the stranger: I am יהוה your Elohim’.”
11“‘You shall not steal; neither shall you deal falsely, nor lie one to another. 12And you shall not swear by My Name falsely, so that you profane the Name of your Elohim: I am יהוה . You13 shall not oppress your neighbor, nor rob him; the wages of a hired servant shall not abide with you all night until the morning. 14You shall not curse the deaf, nor put a stumbling-block before the blind, but you shall fear your Elohim: I am יהוה .
15You shall do no unrighteousness in judgment; you shall not respect the person of the poor, nor favor the person of the rich; but in righteousness shall you judge your neighbor. 16You shall not go up and down as a talebearer among your people; neither shall you stand idly by the blood of your neighbor: I am יהוה . You17 shall not hate your brother in your heart; you shall surely rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him. 18You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am יהוה ‘.”
“‘19You shall keep My Khukot. You shall not let your cattle gender with a diverse kind; you shall not sow your field with two kinds of seed; neither shall there come upon you a garment of two kinds of stuff mingled together. 20And whoever lies carnally with a woman, that is a bondmaid, designated for a man, and not at all redeemed, nor was freedom given her, there shall be inquisition; they shall not be put to death, because she was not free. 21And he shall bring his forfeit unto יהוה , unto the door of the Ohel Mo’ed, even a ram for an Asham. 22And the kohen shall make atonement for him with the ram of the Asham before יהוה for his sin which he has sinned; and he shall be forgiven for his sin which he has sinned’.”
23“‘And when you shall come into the land, and shall have planted all manner of trees for food, then you shall count the fruit thereof as forbidden; three years shall it be as forbidden unto you; it shall not be eaten. 24And in the fourth year all the fruit thereof shall be kadosh, for giving praise unto יהוה . But25 in the fifth year may you eat of the fruit thereof, that it may yield unto you more richly the increase thereof: I am יהוה your Elohim’.”
26“‘You shall not eat with the blood; neither shall you practice divination nor soothsaying. 27You shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shall you destroy the corners of your beard. 28You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor imprint any marks upon you: I am יהוה . Profane29 not your daughter, to make her a harlot, lest the land fall into harlotry, and the land become full of lewdness. 30You shall keep My sabbaths, and reverence My sanctuary: I am יהוה . Turn31 not unto the ghosts, nor unto familiar spirits; seek them not out, to be defiled by them: I am יהוה your Elohim. 32You shall rise up before the gray head, and honor the face of the elder, and you shall fear your Elohim: I am יהוה . And33 if a stranger sojourns with you in your land, you shall not do him wrong. 34The stranger that sojourns with you shall be unto you as the home-born among you, and you shall love him as yourself; for you were strangers in the land of Mitzrayim: I am יהוה your Elohim’.”
35“‘You shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in balance, in weight, or in measure. 36Just balances, just weights, a just efah, and a just hin, shall you have: I am יהוה your Elohim, who brought you out of the land of Mitzrayim. 37And you shall observe all My Khukot, and all My Mishpatim, and do them: I am יהוה ‘.”
פרשת קְדֹשִׁים
אוַיְדַבֵּר יהוה אֶל מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר. בדַּבֵּר אֶל כָּל עֲדַת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְאָמַרְתָּ אֲלֵהֶם קְדֹשִׁים תִּהְיוּ כִּי קָדוֹשׁ אֲנִי יהוה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם. גאִישׁ אִמּוֹ וְאָבִיו תִּירָאוּ וְאֶת שַׁבְּתֹתַי תִּשְׁמֹרוּ אֲנִי יהוה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם. דאַל תִּפְנוּ אֶל הָאֱלִילִם וֵאלֹהֵי מַסֵּכָה לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ לָכֶם אֲנִי יהוה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם. הוְכִי תִזְבְּחוּ זֶבַח שְׁלָמִים לַיהוה לִרְצֹנְכֶם תִּזְבָּחֻהוּ. ובְּיוֹם זִבְחֲכֶם יֵאָכֵל וּמִמָּחֳרָת וְהַנּוֹתָר עַד יוֹם הַשְּׁלִישִׁי בָּאֵשׁ יִשָּׂרֵף. זוְאִם הֵאָכֹל יֵאָכֵל בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁלִישִׁי פִּגּוּל הוּא לֹא יֵרָצֶה. חוְאֹכְלָיו עֲוֹנוֹ יִשָּׂא כִּי אֶת קֹדֶשׁ יהוה חִלֵּל וְנִכְרְתָה הַנֶּפֶשׁ הַהִוא מֵעַמֶּיהָ.
טוּבְקֻצְרְכֶם אֶת קְצִיר אַרְצְכֶם לֹא תְכַלֶּה פְּאַת שָׂדְךָ לִקְצֹר וְלֶקֶט קְצִירְךָ לֹא תְלַקֵּט. יוְכַרְמְךָ לֹא תְעוֹלֵל וּפֶרֶט כַּרְמְךָ לֹא תְלַקֵּט לֶעָנִי וְלַגֵּר תַּעֲזֹב אֹתָם אֲנִי יהוה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם.
יאלֹא תִּגְנֹבוּ וְלֹא תְכַחֲשׁוּ וְלֹא תְשַׁקְּרוּ אִישׁ בַּעֲמִיתוֹ. יבוְלֹא תִשָּׁבְעוּ בִשְׁמִי לַשָּׁקֶר וְחִלַּלְתָּ אֶת שֵׁם אֱלֹהֶיךָ אֲנִי יהוה . יגלֹא תַעֲשֹׁק אֶת רֵעֲךָ וְלֹא תִגְזֹל לֹא תָלִין פְּעֻלַּת שָׂכִיר אִתְּךָ עַד בֹּקֶר. ידלֹא תְקַלֵּל חֵרֵשׁ וְלִפְנֵי עִוֵּר לֹא תִתֵּן מִכְשֹׁל וְיָרֵאתָ מֵּאֱלֹהֶיךָ אֲנִי יהוה .5
טולֹא תַעֲשׂוּ עָוֶל בַּמִּשְׁפָּט לֹא תִשָּׂא פְנֵי דָל וְלֹא תֶהְדַּר פְּנֵי גָדוֹל בְּצֶדֶק תִּשְׁפֹּט עֲמִיתֶךָ. טזלֹא תֵלֵךְ רָכִיל בְּעַמֶּיךָ לֹא תַעֲמֹד עַל דַּם רֵעֶךָ אֲנִי יהוה . יזלֹא תִשְׂנָא אֶת אָחִיךָ בִּלְבָבֶךָ הוֹכֵחַ תּוֹכִיחַ אֶת עֲמִיתֶךָ וְלֹא תִשָּׂא עָלָיו חֵטְא. יחלֹא תִקֹּם וְלֹא תִטֹּר אֶת בְּנֵי עַמֶּךָ וְאָהַבְתָּ לְרֵעֲךָ כָּמוֹךָ אֲנִי יהוה .
יטאֶת חֻקֹּתַי תִּשְׁמֹרוּ בְּהֶמְתְּךָ לֹא תַרְבִּיעַ כִּלְאַיִם שָׂדְךָ לֹא תִזְרַע כִּלְאָיִם וּבֶגֶד כִּלְאַיִם שַׁעַטְנֵז לֹא יַעֲלֶה עָלֶיךָ. כוְאִישׁ כִּי יִשְׁכַּב אֶת אִשָּׁה שִׁכְבַת זֶרַע וְהִוא שִׁפְחָה נֶחֱרֶפֶת לְאִישׁ וְהָפְדֵּה לֹא נִפְדָּתָה אוֹ חֻפְשָׁה לֹא נִתַּן לָהּ בִּקֹּרֶת תִּהְיֶה לֹא יוּמְתוּ כִּי לֹא חֻפָּשָׁה. כאוְהֵבִיא אֶת אֲשָׁמוֹ לַיהוה אֶל פֶּתַח אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד אֵיל אָשָׁם. כבוְכִפֶּר עָלָיו הַכֹּהֵן בְּאֵיל הָאָשָׁם לִפְנֵי יהוה עַל חַטָּאתוֹ אֲשֶׁר חָטָא וְנִסְלַח לוֹ מֵחַטָּאתוֹ אֲשֶׁר חָטָא.
כגוְכִי תָבֹאוּ אֶל הָאָרֶץ וּנְטַעְתֶּם כָּל עֵץ מַאֲכָל וַעֲרַלְתֶּם עָרְלָתוֹ אֶת פִּרְיוֹ שָׁלֹשׁ שָׁנִים יִהְיֶה לָכֶם עֲרֵלִים לֹא יֵאָכֵל. כדוּבַשָּׁנָה הָרְבִיעִת יִהְיֶה כָּל פִּרְיוֹ קֹדֶשׁ הִלּוּלִים לַיהוה . כהוּבַשָּׁנָה הַחֲמִישִׁת תֹּאכְלוּ אֶת פִּרְיוֹ לְהוֹסִיף לָכֶם תְּבוּאָתוֹ אֲנִי יהוה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם.
כולֹא תֹאכְלוּ עַל הַדָּם לֹא תְנַחֲשׁוּ וְלֹא תְעוֹנֵנוּ. כזלֹא תַקִּפוּ פְּאַת רֹאשְׁכֶם וְלֹא תַשְׁחִית אֵת פְּאַת זְקָנֶךָ. כחוְשֶׂרֶט לָנֶפֶשׁ לֹא תִתְּנוּ בִּבְשַׂרְכֶם וּכְתֹבֶת קַעֲקַע לֹא תִתְּנוּ בָּכֶם אֲנִי יהוה . כטאַל תְּחַלֵּל אֶת בִּתְּךָ לְהַזְנוֹתָהּ וְלֹא תִזְנֶה הָאָרֶץ וּמָלְאָה הָאָרֶץ זִמָּה. לאֶת שַׁבְּתֹתַי תִּשְׁמֹרוּ וּמִקְדָּשִׁי תִּירָאוּ אֲנִי יהוה . לאאַל תִּפְנוּ אֶל הָאֹבֹת וְאֶל הַיִּדְּעֹנִים אַל תְּבַקְשׁוּ לְטָמְאָה בָהֶם אֲנִי יהוה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם. לבמִפְּנֵי שֵׂיבָה תָּקוּם וְהָדַרְתָּ פְּנֵי זָקֵן וְיָרֵאתָ מֵּאֱלֹהֶיךָ אֲנִי יהוה . לגוְכִי יָגוּר אִתְּךָ גֵּר בְּאַרְצְכֶם לֹא תוֹנוּ אֹתוֹ. לדכְּאֶזְרָח מִכֶּם יִהְיֶה לָכֶם הַגֵּר הַגָּר אִתְּכֶם וְאָהַבְתָּ לוֹ כָּמוֹךָ כִּי גֵרִים הֱיִיתֶם בְּאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם אֲנִי יהוה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם.
להלֹא תַעֲשׂוּ עָוֶל בַּמִּשְׁפָּט בַּמִּדָּה בַּמִּשְׁקָל וּבַמְּשׂוּרָה. לומֹאזְנֵי צֶדֶק אַבְנֵי צֶדֶק אֵיפַת צֶדֶק וְהִין צֶדֶק יִהְיֶה לָכֶם אֲנִי יהוה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם אֲשֶׁר הוֹצֵאתִי אֶתְכֶם מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם. לזוּשְׁמַרְתֶּם אֶת כָּל חֻקֹּתַי וְאֶת כָּל מִשְׁפָּטַי וַעֲשִׂיתֶם אֹתָם אֲנִי יהוה .
